I bet that thing weights a ton. Heck I bought one of the Poti Alum. a while back and have not used it.

Now and again I try to go back to all wood and man oh man what a painful experience.

I'd for sure get it but the guy doesn't ship to Canada :(

if you really want it bad enough, i'm sure someone could get it for you...although it could get expensive...

Ya I wouldn't pay alot for it. It's not worth it.

If I remeber right that is not aluminum, I remember seeing those like 10 years ago in the RHI and I thought they were graphite. They came out about the same time as the 1000.

I know what you mean. Every now and then I pick up one of my SOP 9950's and as nice as they ARE, I can't seem to give them much ice time these days.

when i used to have an aluminum shaft it made my hands really really cold like thro the gloves.

alluminum always used to make my hands sting where my palm & fingers meet...

You are correct that it is not aluminum, however, the PF1000 came out in 1993.

The shaft in the ad is composite. This shaft dates back to about 1996-97.
