I agree there should be flex areas in there like the V-12's, but the middle one is much darker than the others

That crease is visible because of the position his foot is in. If he was standing upright it wouldn't be visible but since he is flexing the skate you can see it.

I think that is for the recoil technology or whatever it's called in the new skate. On second thought, I don't mind the look of those on the ice, the catologue makes them look really bad looking, but their they look alright.
