The Modern Jersey. Time to Get Real!

Recommended Posts

OK, so i have this thing with polyester and non natural fibers.  ANY time i wear those types of shirts, i stink to high heaven after an hour or so. I has to do with my body chemistry i think, i've had this problem my whole life.   Luckily, GAP makes gapfit cotton shirts (with vented underarm panels) that STILL wick the moisture away from my body. albeit the shirt is still soaked when i'm done.     for socks... I found these: http://darntough.com/men/mens-ski-ride/captain-stripe-over-the-calf-cushion  100% marino wool which to quote the site: "is naturally antimicrobial this sock repels bacteria and odor."  i LOVE these socks. and they are Guaranteed for life.

as far as the actual subject: i really like the fit of the Reebok Edge (20P00) jersey. I'd play in it all damn day.  its my "goto" for pickup.  When i'm playing for one team i have the AK jersey thats more of a "traditional fit"  and i do not care for the cut AT ALL.

How's sizing on those performance Ts relative to your normal T-shirt size? Thinking about ordering a few.

I ordered a size down on the Bauer Training Tee.  Normally a large t-shirt and got mediums.  They fit good, pretty much just like a large normal t-shirt.

FWIW.

Also played with one for the first time last night... I would say that I didn't notice much of any improvement over a good old cotton t.  Still seemed soaked with sweat when I was done and I didn't notice being way cooler or anything on the ice.  Glad I paid $20/ea vs. "real money".  :-)

I wouldn't have noticed a difference either with something loose fitting like that.

weird. I played last night in 85 degree heat and humidity like crazy and my Bauer T had me fairly dry after 1.5 hours playing at the end. Put on a cotton T when i was done and it was drenched on the drive home.
