Anyone heard about Powertek?

Recommended Posts

I was at Sport Expert(multi sport store at Quebec) and i saw a new strange stick!!

they has 3 model(1.''100%graphite''2.''60%graphite''3.''20%graphite'')

Flex:90

shaft shape:pretty rounded...i never hold a Inno''0'' shape...but i,M thinking it could feel like the 0 of Inno...

100graphite...was 470gram....60% was 500 gram and 20% was 550 gram!

The 100% was red white...the 60% was blue/white and the 20% was orange/white

Only curve :Modanoish(well from what they had in the store)

Price:110$ CND

The blade was really thin!!! had one of the greatest shaft shape i never hold!!the design is ABSOLUTLY GREAT!!!!!flex was nice 90!! only problem is i switch from modano curve to inginla!!!!(i prefer having a more open/loft curve)if not i was buying one

By the way.it a OPS...!!!

So my question is.....anyone have heard anything about this compagnie??(i can't find their product by searching on google..)Well the problem is: I'm not sure if the name is really powertek!!!!i try to remember everything about the stick but now i'm not sure about the name...???

Sports Experts is owned by the Forzani Group, the same company that owns Sportchek. The stick you speak of is probably and exclusive to that company.

a guy down here playing with the old timers has a tilage one piece, and i must say i'm surprised its holding up for the guy. he must be in the mid-high 200lbs range, owns the local gym, and is a successful power lifter, and its held up for him. he has a complete cannon of a shot too. i never got to look at it up close though

The stick feel really nice...and at 110CND it a gift....but since i moved to inginla because i didn't like the loft!! i prefer a more open curve like the inginla!!!!

Luke, do you ever play against Kim Swallow (I think that's his name..?) Plays for Marlies AAA I think..lol?

BTW guys, in Alberta here, Harrow sponsors lots of Bantam players, usually the top players and they get 70% off sticks and pants, gloves, etc.

The sniper is advertised at 395 grams, same as the Stealth and XN10.

The info they gave me at the show said 385, guess they made a change. The worst part is they only ship UPS so we get hit with their brokerage fee when we order.

We've been selling the blue juniors quite a bit, but the seniors haven't sold well.

The only other senior curve is the F(ischer). The shaft is based on the low end sticks, hence the high weight.
