tpedersen3118 58 Report post Posted November 29, 2016 Looking to replace my TotalOne gloves as they have served their purpose over the years. Is anyone playing the 6052's from CCM? I saw they have a second version out that has a little more durable palm than the OG's. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Thanks Personally, I hate the new palm because it is uncomfortable, but for a a glove that is not the top of the line I would happily wear the 6052.
tpedersen3118 58 Report post Posted November 29, 2016 Good to know. I haven't been able to try on the V2 only the original ones, and while I found them to be comfortable, I'm a little concerned about how they will hold up. Any additional suggestions or brands that might offer a similar fit profile and durable palm? I could always go back to Supremes as I did like them a lot but wanted to give something else a try. Thanks My youngest has a pair of 13" 6052's, the original design/palm. No complaints, they have held up well. The liner inside one of the fingers seems to have come off from the back, but if you poke your finger in and push it back in place it's not overly annoying. Another glove in the same price range which seems pretty popular for team gloves is the Bauer X100. I think it's a bit of a wider fit than the 6052, but I would check it out if you are looking for something around that price point.

I also like the QLT 290 and Warrior QRL Pro. If you are worried about palm durability grab a Tacki-Mac and your palms shouldn't be an issue anymore.
hawkeyfan 36 Report post Posted November 30, 2016 my 14 y.o. has been gaming these going on a year. Originally they look like a great glove... I have been dissappointed. the little padding on the bottom of the hand has been torn of (restitched on) and then that material has been cut somehow now. But what drived me bonkers is that the glove palms seem to be (on the inside) balling up with micro balls. We have had a similar thing with another older CCM pair. I thought it was a fluke thing with the actual palm leather, but seems to be occuring on this set as well. When its time, we will most likely go back to Warrior...But this dad will make him play them until they are toast or if he switches teams.
enis750 48 Report post Posted November 30, 2016 I have been using the 6052's for about 4 months now, w no complaints or issues (maybe 40+ skates w them?) they break in easily, have lots of mobility and seem to be lasting pretty decent I would recommend them and buy them again for sure

To my knowledge the 6052 is the only glove to have a refresh and specifically addresses the palm?
