Any 1S stick users here?

Just wondering what people's thoughts  were on the stick. I liked the NXG and MX3 a little less than the NXG  but haven't gotten around to using a 1S. Also how's the durability. Thanks

I have 2 of them, a 77 flex and a 67 flex, both are excellent imo.  I also HAD (broke) a 1X 67 flex stick as well.

If I had MY choice now, I'd go with the 1X stick.  I felt a bit more comfortable to me, than the 1S stcks.

NOW, with that said, I LOVED my MX3 more than both the 1X and the 1S.

Such a personal opinion, it's difficult to make a choice purely on who likes what better, but the durability of the 1S is the best of all 3 I mentioned.

What do you like and dislike about the 1S? How does it compare to the MX3? I've used several MX3 and 1Xs both early model and 2nd generation. The MX3 just gave me super potent shots. I'd hope to get that out of the 1S. I take all kinds of shots but with the MX3 my snapshots were fire and slapshots too. I'm not much of a sweeping wrist shot guy honestly.

I'm very much he same as you...  The 1S IMO, doesn't have that sweet feel the MX3 did.

It's VERY close, but I don't believe the 1S has that feel and pop your MX3 had.   It's like it feels "thicker" if that makes any sense.

I like the weight and durability of the 1S, but it misses the mark on POP vs. the MX3.

If you like the MX3 you should try the S190.

So what are the differences between the 2017 1S, 2016 1S, and the MX3?

 

When talking to local hs varsity players they've told me they thought guys were snapping 2016 1S's with much more regularity coming from the MX3. Quite unscientific/unreliable information I know.
