Needed new shows...picked up a pair of Nike Impax. $109.99 down to 49.99...sounds good to me. I love how running shoes/crosstrainers have no work in time anymore.....feel like slippers right out of the box...I don't remember that when I was a kid getting new school shoes.

i know we're all hockey gear whores.. so the majority of our money goes towards that.. but..

if a person who was a sneaker whore (i have a ton of friends who are into sneakers and spend a TON of money on them..im talking like exclusives.. and retros.. and jordans.. what you guys pay for sticks and skates.. they pay for shoes) saw this post.. they'd be like..'they can't be serious.. this is sad.'

it would be like..us, as gear whores, seeing someone who was wearing low end equipment..

While I know nothing about limited edition sneakers, etc. I have to say it's pretty damn cool. I've just always been afraid to get into it due to my compulsive nature.. haha. It's funny though, I had a ton of old Adio skate shows kicking around from my days playing out in my band (we'd get free shit) and ended up making a killing on old discontinued Bam Margera skate shoes.. so I could only imagine the loot these Nikes go for.

A kid in my building has a new pair of Nike's just about every casual Friday... I believe last week he had on Air Max 90 "Warhawks", I think he said... and previous week, he had on a silver/purple Dinosaur Jr pair, which I got a kick out of, I never struck Dino Jr as a band to have a limited edition pair of Nikes.

The model is called Jeans. At the risk of losing the appeal of finding cool shoes, I got mine at Winners (a Canadian TJ Maxx/Marshalls-type store). As a result of that, they didn't come with the cool wooden box, or any of that stuff, but I got a really good price on them.
