I've never owned any shox, but I find nikes in general to be very uncomfortable. I hadn't bought a pair in several years until I saw some Air Max 180s that looked pretty sweet. They are probably the least supportive shoe I've ever worn. If I have to stand for more than a couple hours I make sure to wear my New Balance.

I just picked these up this week... Macbeth Eliot vegan, compliments of my new friends at Mooshoes.com. Great e-tailer, super nice and easy to work with. They're based out of NYC.... All animal-friendly footwear and accessories. They're a lot more comfortable than I expected.

Also, I read a small article about the McFly Nikes, and my initial reaction also was "I'm sure we'll see a pair from that THockey fella on Modsquad within a few days". Man, I wish I could collect kicks like that. I thought I was out of control when I had 5 different colors of Saucony Jazz.

Different strokes I guess, just like skate brands. It sucks for me tho cuz most of the really cool designs are Nike. I used to be an Air Max fiend...

I love my Saucony shoes. I only regret getting white mesh, can't keep it clean!

Any tips on cleaning them without washing machines or power washers?

I got a pair of Nike Impax a while back. Comfortable...probably not great if I was doing heavy crosstraining/off ice in them...but they are just every day running shoes to me...so it's all good.

I've seen some of those Nike Bauer shoes but never in that color scheme. It always had the Team Canada Red, White and Black colors.

Maybe they were done by Nike iD cause I think you can get the Free 5.0 there but I'm not sure how he could have gotten the Nike Bauer stamp on them. Maybe just a custom job.

If you're not hung up on it having the NBH logo, Nike.com has them on their site. It is called the Nike Free Dynamic TR and is available in four different colors or personalized with NikeID. They look pretty cool, had I not just gotten the Air Zoom Moire+ ID's I wouldd have to get a pair.

On the way to my mailbox (because I went a little nuts and ordered all of these online in the past week or so).

I actually kinda like those Desisto's. Simple, yet rather stylish.

Hoping to get a couple of pairs done at the NikeID studio in NYC. A pair of 90's and a pair of 87's or two pairs of 87's.

Just thinking of colorways ^_^

The top ones are the Sportsman by the Generic Man, and the bottom are the Desisto and the Cease by Gourmet. The Generic Man ended up running out of the ones I ordered, and sending me different ones, though - mine have black soles, and the top part around the ankles is suede. They are astonishingly nice shoes.

how do they fit size wise? are they true to nike sizing?

The Generic Man ones run true to size. The Gourmets I find run just slightly big - I don't own any Nikes, but in most shoes, I wear an 11, but I wear a 10.5 in theirs.
