Buzz_LightBeer 698 Report post Posted November 17, 2020 $16 for "unbreakable" laces with no give. Looks like a solution to a problem that hardly exists. 1

BruinDust 17 Report post Posted November 17, 2020 There is a market for this product no doubt. But this isn't a product I would use as I much prefer cloth laces and swap mine out every 4-5 months.

Imagine the lace bite and discomfort from laces that do not stretch or give in any way.
Hills 566 Report post Posted November 17, 2020 I got sent these to try and test to give them feedback... Like people mentioned here, lace bite was TERRIBLE. I couldn't get them tight enough to actually make my skates feel "snug" until I cranked them and then I had to get off the ice for the shift because lace bite was so bad. I relayed this to them but got no response. That was with the unwaxed as I usually don't use waxed laces. I never bothered to try and use the waxed. 1

That was my main concern that without any elasticity the laces might cause lace bite or uneven pressure. IPv6Freely 1985 Report post Posted November 18, 2020 Was this the company that spammed on here last year? I can’t remember... it was definitely a lace company.
