MyBauer Custom Stick 4 Inch Extension

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys!

Does anyone know if the extension option on the Bauer customizer, means that they´ll just put a 4 Inch Extension Plug in or do they actually produce a longer stick?

Also, does anyone have experience with these extension options on Bauer sticks or Custom sticks in general?

Any information on this would be much appreciated!

Thx and best regards!

4” fused composite plug

i believe CCM, Warrior and True all offer legitimate length of shaft customization, but I’ve been out of the custom game for a while

Oh really just a plug? That´s kind of weaksauce..

Guess I´ll have to go with either a Warrior or CCM stick then.

Thanks for the reply!

I've had pro stocks like that. It's not a plug, more like a coupling. You'll never know its there.

I’ve had a few recently that are definitely 4” Comp plugs. If you cut off more than 4” you can see where the tenon is doubled in the shaft. A 1X Lite and a Vapor ADV. you can see where the fuse point is painted over and you can remover the tenon as well.

uh oh... lol. Don´t know but I tried it once and it just felt like something was off.. Like somehow my release was getting slower, but this is obviously super subjective.

Maybe I´ll give it another try and shorten the plug more.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. How did you get the tenon out?

Heated the ever loving eff out of it and chiseled it out with a flathead screwdriver. Not a very graceful process. Just make sure you don’t knock it down the inside of the shaft.

Do you think it’s possible without cutting the extension off first?

I've never had any luck. I think you'd have to find the seam and break thru the layer of material applied over the bare composite first.
