Catalyst Player Pant

Not sure of the partnership details between True and Tackla, but this is a nice pant.  Tackla fit and extremely light.  It will be interesting to see how the durability is and how well it does at retail.

I wonder if any True athletes will wear them? Off the top of my head I can’t think of any players that wear True pants

This pant is strictly a retail only pant similar to say a CCM FT6 Pro or Bauer Hyperlite.  Definitely not a beefy Pro Stock pant.

Are there any pros today with slimmed down pants? I've come across someone saying Hull took a lot of padding out of his pants. I think Kovalev did the same, or just played in slimmer model Kohos until switching over to Easton, then Warrior. Kovalchuk played many of his early years in Nike retail pants.

HGTK are straight up the retail pant with a different cover. So that would be an option for people looking for more light weight and less overall protection. But they aren't really lighter than the UCLP... But certainly fit looser.
