True Speedshift holders

Recommended Posts

Anyone try these yet?  Seems like the pitch is more neutral compared to past holders.  Also seems lighter.  How does stiffness compare?

I haven't seen it in person, but I'm impressed with the direction their design is going. Both for the holder and the boot. The Shift holders looked way too busy.

I reached out and they said you can order it directly from them right now. Just need to call or email them.

I'm not steel specialist but from the video I posted above this steel design sounds very interesting.

Per the team at TRUE

In CAD, plus shipping:
SpeedShift HP DLC Steel is $199.99/pair
SpeedShift Holder is $69.99/piece(not pair)

What are the chances of this steel bowing and holding up to a heavier person with the cutouts in them. I remember when Bauer did this and it was a disaster.

The cutouts in these is minimal compared to what Bauer tried on a couple of occasions with the triangles on the vapor 8? And also the slots on the one90? Also Bauer steel is/was not great particularly back then.

Good to know. I just ordered the new holders and steel. Look forward to taking them for a test drive. Will place a photo when they have been installed.
