Taking writing off eagles

Whats the best way to take the writing off of leather eagles, or any glove for that matter?

I tried using my sister's nail polish remover and I really screwed it up. The letters were all smudged and the colour was faded. I'd just keep the letters if I were you, or try using different things to experiment on an old pair of gloves.

Ask KC83, I believe he did that with a pair of 1997's.

for a league I was in where non-sponsored logos had to be hidden I just used white electrical tape on my 120 x70s, didn't look bad at all

You dont even need to bother doing anything to the SE1997's. The silver lettering will just start to come off after a few games.

there was a kid at a hockey camp I went to that blacked out his entire gloves with black electrical tape, so I guess that would do the trick.

You can use edge dye and stain it.

Yeah, you can't tell unless your holding them or your beside the guy. It doesn't look half bad.

My friend has black ones with white writing, and it looks like he just used a sharpie to black out the writing.

I did that before, but then it started to wear off...black electrical tape is def. the way to go
