Just got the SyNergy SL

its not something easton hasnt offered to us before. We bought pro stock and warranty sticks off them for a little cheaper but without any warranty. Appealing to some, not to others

They are legit sticks that myself and some employees have broken, its not like im snapping them over my knee. We just throw them upstairs because we figure "whats the point" You are quick to assume some illegal practice is at hand

What's the point???? The point is that if they break within the warranty period that you can get a replacement stick. I'd say that's incentive to send them in.

wow. There is a HUGE difference between buying pro stock/warranty replacement sticks from easton themselves at a lower price and selling them for cheaper, then from buying a stick for PERSONAL use and then selling the warranty replacement you recieve. I mean you even said that YOU and your EMPLOYEES broke them through regular use themselves. Now to sell the replacements you get from those broken sticks? That would be ridiculous. Am I the only one that sees the problem in this?

well the stick is still holding up real well. only complaint is the paint chipping, its really bad. the blue paint is basically gone off bottom of blade, adn i cant tape there cuz when i look down it bothers me. Feel is better then older synergies IMO, i want to try the ST too becasue the SL is so light let me tell you. 420 grams is real light. i still need to sdjust because ive only used it in 2 skates, but it forsure fires rockets, im not lying

I understand what you are saying, but we didnt actually do it, it was just an idea we were kicking around. The idea would have been to create a demand for the stick so when we did get the SL it would be a hot product. The actual implementing of the plan probably could have never happened. Lets get off this topic and on to the real topic which was the SL, sorry for creating a distraction from the real topic

Hey everyone,

Im new here and got a SL left drury 100 from Easton as a warrenty for my Si-core that I broke in 2 days. But anyway, the SL is already broken. The stick felt amazing, and I was really impressed except f or durability. I used it for the first time on Tuesday when I got it for our game. Then it broke in the first 5 minutes of practice today, and it wasn't even on a shot, I was poke-checking someone and the blade just snapped...So much for 20% stronger. The paint chipped really bad, and I wouldn't call it grey, its more of a chrome underneath the blue, just like the regular color of the stick. But other than it breaking super fast, it felt amazing in my hands and I would definetly get one again.

Oh, and I didn't use it on Wednesday for practice either, so it was just a game and about 5 minutes. Easton really needs to figure something out with the durability or dont call it a 9 on the stick....maybe that stands for 9 out of 50 or something...

Haha, yeah, It makes me wonder how high the numbers go. The performance of it really was nice though. And not to mention the outstandingly good looks of it...I took some pictures of my SL with my camera phone, and they turned out okay, except it wont let me send them to my email. I have to call my provider and get it sorted out. Once I do ill post them up.

Do the SL or St come in a Shanahan pattern? I have dial up internet and trying to download the catalog review for Easton could take a life time. Thanks

Easton makes a phenomenal stick, but their marketing team leaves A LOT to be desired.

I don't know what you're talking about man. Their marketing department is top notch. The brand name recognition of the synergy is immense. Kids automatically refer to a synergy when looking at OPS's even if they haven't looked/played with any other OPS's. They may be the Microsoft of the stick market but they know their stuff.
