Inno 1100 tapered in a 300 or 340 (whip)

Recommended Posts

I have been looking all over for a tapered Inno 1100 shaft in either a 300 or 340 (whip) flex, but most stores i've found only carry 220 or 260. Does anyone know of any stores that have what i'm looking for?

Thanks

Try looking up JustHockeysfs and National sports. They are both Canadian, but should be able to get what your looking for. I'm not sure of the shipping policy they each will imply, but a phone call or e-mail cannot hurt.

I've also found 2 sites offering Dual fit 1100 in a 380 flex. I don't believe they offer a 340 flex. Face-off and Perani's.

You can check online at HockeyOutlets.com

They have them listed in the 300 flex.

closest i ever saw to the 340 was the roller flex inno made, that was on epuck 2 summers ago. it wasnt tapered, but its flex was approximate to what your saying. i sold mine on ebay. i dont think they make them anymore, ebay is probably your best bet. it was pretty sweet for roller, but im a big guy and it was just too much. more garden hose than shaft, but it was fun. great release on the shot, but had trouble picking corners.

now that i think of it, i believe the roller flex was 440! my bad, thats way more than your looking for.

Yeah your right it is the 440 ( I have one) and the whip is insane! Try somehow beofre you buy.

He constantly switches sticks. I've only seen him break a handful each year in the games I've seen.

If very whippy sticks are bad for slappers, then why does Hull use one of the whippiest sticks on the market?

I'm really tempted to try out that 440 "hull" flex now, just don't want to spend the money on something I might not even like.

On the MSH flex chart, it lists the 440 is equivelant to an Easton 65 flex, but there's a ? after the 440, does anyone know for sure what it is?

Whippy flexes work best for his shooting motion. Most people use a different motion and really whippy flexes don't work well.

I love it for wristers, and snappers. I have a Mogilny blade in it right now and Im starting to get used to it for slappers(coming from a Modano and a Sakic) it does take some getting used to becuase its soo whippy - even something like passing and catching passes puts a little flex on the stick - but all in all its good. I use it mostly for roller as Im afriad the extra weight of an ice puck might cause it to flex to much and snap, I have tried in on ice before though, I just feel safer using it for roller, and I think works better for roller as well. Had it for 2 years and its still goin strong and combined with the Inno blade makes for a great stick. Just make sure you flex the stick alot in the store, and try to hunt down a friends or something :)

That's probably not the best idea........unless you like being forced to buy a broken stick.
