Vapor Gloves

Just loking for any opinions on the Vapor XX and XXX gloves. Is there any noticeable difference. I'm now in the market for new gloves and I'm looking at these two. Any opinions or info onthem would be appriciated.

The biggest difference would obviously be the nylon on the XXXs. Besides that and the palm (XXXs are a much thinner nash palm compared to the XX's nash/stretch), they are essencially the same glove. I've been able to try both pairs out, and the XXXs seem to have a better feel and they are noticably lighter...

Also, the cuff is more open on the XXX and it is not adjustable like the cuff on the xx. The cuff on the xxx leaves a bigger gap between the two segments, which I'm not a big fan of.

considering the palm life on the xxx is expected to be last about as long as a roll of tape...thus the extra set with retail purchase.

It is an ultra light very comfortable glove in all motions of play.

I use ccm pro tacks and always said my next would be a Vapor series.

The Vapor fits the knuckes sweet when gripped around a stick...

But the nylon and throw away palms dont work when you buy your own equipment...lol

My vapor xxx's should be in sometime this week. When I tried them on they were just amazing, they felt so broken in, and everything was nice about them. I figure with the palms is, if they wear out right away, I will probably just put some goat skin palms on them, and they should be good.

I personally prefer the XXX over the XX because of the great feel and the ease of movement.

The Vapor XXX and XX are very nice gloves, Im looking to pick up the Vapor XX soon. I also did try on the Vapor XXX too, but I just like the XX better.

Ya they will, I am getting them tuesday I believe. But if the palms wear out that fast, why bother with the same palm, and the same problems?

...I believe I remember hearing (or reading; who knows anymore) something about the replacement palms that come with the retail XXXs are the thicker nash than those initially on the gloves.

That seems to be a little presumptuous, wouldn't you say? Especially if you don't even have them... :o

My XXX palms are fine, after 2 1/2 months of 6-8 ice times a week, and lots of abuse on them from other players.

The XXX fits differently in the cuff than the XX does, as Geki said. Also, at first I found the inserts on the cuff to be a little restrictive, but now that I have gotten used to them I am a big fan. I am planning on getting the right glove repalmed in about 1-2 months, because once I go to Europe I don't want them to get nasty on me and have a problem with them, so its just a prevention repalming :P .
