Look at the equipment forums here on MSH, it is easy to see how big name players influence consumers when looking for new gear. Secondly, there are those who just watch hockey, and then there are those of us who actively play and it is the second group that Nike hockey is targeting. Prime example is your own post, you have effectively advertised Nike hockey to all of us here and if just one or two go out and buy a Nike product from this post then it can only get better when the games get going again.
