my vapour xx pm 9 lasted me for over a year, playing 4 times a week, great for stickhandling but, i have a difficult time shooting with it. my true 1 lasted me for just over a month broke it accidently poking an opponent on a breakaway, the blade snapped.

tjobity, looks like you either got rocked a few times or just flat out played wrecklessly with that stick ;)

After 6 months my blade FINALLY began to show a bit of chipping on the toe (fixed it with epoxy).

Besides, since you say it was only after two games you should send it to CCM for a warranty replacement.

Im pretty sure it got stepped on. I had only heared good things about the blades and was very surprised about the crack. I guess it was just an accident though. I also brought it to the outdoor rink, which is pretty stupid because I tend to take a lot of slap shots there, and stay for a long time. It was an Innovative stick by the way, not CCM, and they WILL warranty the blade, not the whole stick because it was Pro Stock. So I will have to send it back and they will put an Innovative blade in it.

I know a couple kids who have had them for a while now. Plus, it's a normal Synergy with a 3 rib design in the blade rather than only 1.

Haven't had much luck with Inno's in the past, especially blades. Let's see how my last two hold up though. I also haven't had any stick long enough to comment on the durability of one though, but I would say that my old TriFlex Gold lasted the longest out of all of mine.

I'm surprised that the Synnergy's did as well as they did - they're the ones that you see breaking the most often in the NHL (although, I suppose the counter argument to that could be that this is just because they're the ones the pro's use the most). I found the blades on the Synnergy to offer poor puck feel (never tried a SI though) and that they were not notably durable.

I still have an old Synergy Grip Gold Edition and it's still holding up, I've played about 3 seasons with it on and off.

I am going to go with the Laser. I had my Vector for a while too, and probably longer, but after the first month or so my Vector just went to hell. It was "almost broken" for about a month.

Any idea if the puck feel on the Laser is as good as other Busch products (such as the Balance)?

It's my understanding that that part of the Busch technology is the same.

(wondering aloud.... wonder why Busch hasn't looked into putting a taper on their products? I mean, I know it's only a side product aspect of their "real" business, but someone has to see which way the wind is blowing at some point, don't they?)

The most durible for me was the Tri-flex, the least durible was the vector, sure it stayed together for 2 months, but the blade turned into a noodle within 3 weeks. Guess thats what happens when you put a crappy ABS blade on a "high-end" one peice.

i broke my tri-flex after 3 weeks of use. and that was 4 times a week. the feel on it was horrible. and being my first ops, i expected more from it.

Ever consider that it may be more durable because of the way they taper their shafts?

V110! If you cut it in half you will see it's nearly solid carbon, none of that foam core BS the other guys use. The 110 is much more durible than the 120 or 130.

But the Parcrow is even better. I have never sold one that broke from normal use, ever. Solid carbon all thew way thru. Too bad they aren't more well distributed.

Ah.. now that's an interesting argument!
