Craziest hockey jerseys of all time?

I just found a pic of what I believe could be the craziest hockey jerseys of all time, a special jersey used by the Quad City Mallards (UHL) and then being auctioned out, but man, the jerseys look like.. I don't know what to say! :lol:

Wow, those are....interesting. All of those UHL and other minor league hockey teams break out several "special occasion" jerseys during the course of a season. Usually they are holiday-related: Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, St. Pat's..etc... They are almost always auctioned off after the games.

The best part is the looks on their faces! The one guy looks like he's scanning the crowd to see who's going to throw the first battery... :D

That is a terrible, terrible jersey. Worse than the tuxedo ones... When will it stop??

I live in the Quad-Cities so I go to alot of Mallards games, and jerseys like that are nothing new. Those Tuxedo jerseys that were in a thread from about week back were worn by them. What they do is they wear them for warmups and then auction them off after the game for charity.

I think the Mission "Tuxedo" Jerseys are pretty wacky as well. Perhaps, it's not as out there as the jersey's shown in the first post, but nonetheless, "Tuxedo" jerseys? C'mon?

I loved the Mission Tuxedo jerseys. There was a whole heap of guys in Aus ready to get their own made! Didn't go ahead due to numbers and a few concerns over intelectual property infringment.

Those like the Pride and St Louis jerseys were just awful! Seriously now the current white St Louis jersey is a classic. Why change it or moreso add a fugly ass alt jersey?
