Colored Hockey Laces

Just wondering if anyone has seen colored hockey laces at their LHS. My boss' kid was playing in the Quebec PeeWee tourney last week and said a lot of the kids had colored laces. They had anything from neon green to pink to red,white and blue. One company that he saw up there was Belding-Corticelli, Inc. but I think they've gone out of business. If anyone has any info, that'd be great.

Basically, colored laces are for figure skates. All I can get for colors are red and blue cloth in the hockey thickness. I can get other colors but they are thin, more like shoe laces. As for wax, blk, wht and yellow and that's it. The problem is with little demand for pink, no wholesaler is going to stock the minimum 1000 pairs, he'd never sell them. And no retailer will buy direct if the minimum is case lots. Do you really know how long it would take to sell 36 pairs of "pink' laces? Decades! Same with other colors, they are not popular so no one stocks them. The bottom line is $$$. No retailer is going to stock something that sells slow.

yeah, I've seen certain shops that will stock their rink's travel team colors. like brick(nj) you used to be able to get ANYTHING green. laces, tape, shells, helmets, gloves, mouth pieces.

They sell at least 3 different colors at the arena i usually play at. Pretty sure its orange, blue, yellow. But i could be mistaken

I can generally only find white/black/yellow laces. I've got yellow ones in just now, and I've got a rather fruity pair of purple ones (proper hockey laces. Just purple) that I've yet to use.

Maybe I'll use 'em for a bet.... :lol:
