twistoffate19 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 Is anyone as happy as me, that Easton finally has a Grip sticks coming out in 85 flex? Man, I had a Synergy Grip 100, and it was good but I need 85. I'm getting an SL Grip in a Drury 85 flex first day they show up.
Edge 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 They had 85 flexes in one piece sticks last year. But yeah, it's nice to have some more choices this year.
Cavs019 710 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 Since i've been using Drury 85 Si-Core grips for the past year, no. Using an 85 Drury SL right now, grip isn't even necessary.
Rustyhole 1 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 I've used Synergy Si-Core Grip 85 in 'Modano' since Nov. and don't understand why Easton offers (still) patchwork selection of flexes (esp. 85). If you like the Synergy and want the flex, you can't get a Synergy Grip, you gotta get a Si-Core or Si-Core Grip. but what if you don't like the Si-Core blade??? All sticks should be available in all flexes or at least similar sticks in same flexes. Unless you like the 100 flex as that's seems to be the standard.Easton has addressed this somewhat with the 05 lineup but... it's not perfect.

Kobe 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 If you like the Synergy and want the flex, you can't get a Synergy Grip, you gotta get a Si-Core or Si-Core Grip. The reason is right there. If you want the combination of a 85 flex with grip then you'll have to pay the extra money to get the si-core. It's a smart business decision.
