Good deal on these Innovative shafts?

I think those are the same as the mystery Fedorov shafts that were on sale for cheap some time ago.

lol i'm getting one of those mystery shafts in the mail today, i can't wait to see how it is. Those ebay ones do look exactly the same. There was a huge thread on them, do a search for "hockeyshop"

I've been using my mystery inno since before christmas now, I'd say it performs the same as the 1100 I used to have.

The graphics match up with that one store's mystery Innos though, save for "Fedorov" probably not stamped on these. I'd get them but I fear getting a Novius for the wrong hand.

So just flip it over if it's a novius for the wrong hand. The boron spine is on the side that you're not shooting from, right? Just turn the shaft around and you'll be fine.

Problem being I haven't seen a Novius shaft on the inside and don't know if it's something visible or something built into the shaft itself.

from lookin in my novius i can't really tell if either sides thicker than the other. when mine came in for a replacement on my 1100, it said R-300...so i'm assuming that means right handed

Yea to tell what side the backhand side should be on a Novius, you have to look for the sticker on the inside. Whichever side the sticker is on is the same side the spine is on.

As for the blems comment, does that mean they could be any Inno shaft? As in Novius, 1100, or 2000?

my cousin had one. the paint chipped and it was a novius underneath.

it wouldnt surprise me if these were inno 1000 shafts. they started popping up right after inno discontinued it.

I had one of those Mystery Innos. I had an 1100, type 5 square radiused though...it was nothing like it. Weight of it was heavier in the Mystery, and shot-wise, it wasn't as lively. I bet mine was prob a 2000 or 1000. No way an 1100. The 1100 was prob the best stick I've ever used. That Mystery was some bastard-stepchild or something! I gave it to my bro, he plays College Hockey. Couldn't use it. Too cheap feeling, and way too whippy for him, even though it was marked as 260 flex. It was prob more a 300 or lower.

This brings up an ineteresting point I called the store and they said they were seconds. A while back I bought a dual fit 1100 for $100cdn the stickers seemed really bad but it said pro on the inside of the shaft? How do you know you have the real deal or a factory second?

Thanks Sid

These are from what I understand pro stock seconds. If its anything like my other 1100 it is just a cosmetic issue not a performance issue. I am very interested in these but the cheap price has me a little worried. J.R. you seem to be the man to talk to about this? Can you maybe fill me in on these????

Thanks Sid
