Christian Custom Blades

I'm gonna place an order for custom blades. But on the order form it has an option for "Extra Glass". What exactly is it? Fiberglass? Will it add to the durability, and will it take away some of the feel of the blade?

I'm partial to TPS blades. The blades are absolute tanks and TPS has been good to me for the most part. Learned my lesson and I deal with the pro guy.

I was looking at placing an order for some from them. I contacted them through their website and the guy I spoke with was very helpful. There isn't a Christian dealer near me so he tried to find one for me. He found a couple that were a little far so he then offered to contact my LHS and place an order with them for me. Haven't placed the order yet since I still have a crap load of blades but their customer service seamed very solid.

Are the customs thinner than the old retail puckmasters?

I've got a couple of the old ones, and they are pretty light but the thickness.........they're so bloated.

You can bring in a blade and have them copy it and make wood blades (maybe sticks Im not positive) but Im sure that they will do wood blades. You have to go through a Sherwood dealer, too.

The best option is to send a sample. If you like an existing blade but want changes like a square toe or different lie, specify those differences.

they are sitffer sticks, even in thier "whippy" flexes, im a bigger guy though, so i like them, they last me a while too just personal preference i guess

i was thinking about getting some customs but couldnt decide between bauer and sher wood

I don't think you can change the flex, order the model with the flex you want, 5030(85 flex), 7000(95), 9950(110-115?). You can get the curve, lie, and colors you want on Sherwood SOP's.
