Do Mission warrenty is nice?

i was trying to get out my L-2 blade in my L-2...after get it out...it start cracking...at the tenon...and now there a bog crack that make the blade(when it hot)split for approx. 2 inch!

But the thing is...at the top of the tenon(there 1 of the 4 side) one,is black...like where the foam is... :( and i'm wondering is mission will not warrenty my blade because it got black...

But then agains i had problem fitting first my L-2 blad ein the shaft...but my synthesis will fit PERFECT!

by the way, i never use a OPS in 3 year....used 6 shaft and maybe i got 20 blade...so i know how to change blade and i know i does over-heated the blade...but it does look like(because of the black at the top...)

So do you think Mission will warrenty my blade?(they do have a 30 day warrenty for blade)

by the way, i never used this blade, just put it in the shaft, and did not liked the balance so i get it out to put a synthesis in...

I'm not sure if they even have a blade warrenty, the shaft is for 30 days but i don't belive that the balde has a warrenty on it, and I can't get a good picture of what you mean, can you get pics? My L-2 blades always fit perfect and they were quite durable too.

mission does have a warranty on blades. they are said to have great customer service, so call and ask

They changed it recently for the blades. On the shaft it says, shaft warranty.....They painted over the blade warranty label

Im sure Mission will help you out nonethe less.....Great company!

i cant get good pic...because i only have a webcam(cheap one at 50CND!)

but yea i really liked the feel and everything but not how it was balanced!!(i was wondering if it was mental or anything else...so i go to the grocery and height my blade...the hull curve actually height 180 grams...)

So when my L-2 shaft was empty(no blade in...) i fit my synthesis sicore WITHOUT HEATING IT and it fit loose (so i will need to put tape on my synthesis blade to make it fit nicely in my L-2)so the tenon of the L-2 is bigger than the synthesis!!

But back to the topic...my L-2 blade crack,but when it was hot i was able to bend it and open the crack in half!!!! but when it cold...you only see a crack...

Mission is a great company, but I have to say that model blade sucks. Foam filled barely any carbon wrap.

I love both of my L-2 blades. They seem very solid and have good feel.

I love mission, but I broke two L-2's in early February, called them for warrenty. Sent them in using 2nd day air. I didn't see any stick until early March, which seems like it took too long. Also, they only sent me one replacemnet L-2. So I just called back and checked my account and said they would get the second one out as soon as possible...At least they realized they messed up I guess.

Im in the US. I just got my second L-2 today, and it was very fast from the time I called them. Thumbs up to Mission.

well i'm in Canada,and i just gave the blade to my LHS and they retunr it to Mission and i should have a answer in 1 week

(and i said i dont whant the blade...so when the blade is back i whant the credit and buy a synthesis for 20$ cnd more...)

But for the ''Thumbs up to mission''...I think it normal that they give you a fast shipping...when they make a BAD MISTAKES like this...(2 stick broke...only one is back!)and by the way...I would not say thumbs up to mission because if you have to return to L-2 in even not a month is quite sad!!(same thing for me)!

yea,I know mission is isnt that bad for durabillity(well not as common as the synergy is lol!)

But i'm pretty sure the shaft is pretty solid,and i never in my life, break a blade so blade are not my problem!

Maybe i had bad luck with my tenon cracking(i never played with the blade,,it was brand new!)and like i said,i always use 2 peice so i change blade often!

2.Maybe it was because i had a pro-stock shaft and it doesnt fit the same...but...my synthesis is too small for the hole of the shaft...and my L-2 cracked...maybe the L-2 blade is made to fit ''ONLY'' the L-2 shaft...

But by the way,the thing i disliked the most was the balance,not the durabillity or anything else!

No, I don't have either of my L-2 blades in my L-2 shaft. In the L-2 shaft is a Innovative tapered blade, and the L-2 blades are in my Innovative Novius tapered and my R2Xn10.

I think it's just that Mission is inconsistent with their hosels. Both of my L-2's hosels are a bit smaller than my Inno tapered blade and my XV hosel.

I had to put tape on R2 blades in every tapered shaft I've used. They don't seem to fit anything properly.

the tapered inno blades have a longer hosel i think, so they will be a bit heavier than the L-2 i think. And i think its mental, there no way you can feel the difference of a l2 or synthesis when you taking shots or stickhandling during a game. You may be able to tell when you weigh them in your hands while cleaning out your equipment, but the difference shouldnt be that great. also the bauer 6500 wood is lighter than alot of graphite baldes, maybe give that a try, its been great for me
