messed up v-12's

i had the top of the line v-12 skates and they lasted for a week long camp, then about 4 games. after the 4th game the runner fell off. II could of baught a whole new blade holder, but i decided to go with the vector z100's with a t-blade. Now i find myself getting the tblades put on the v-12's.... The v-12's are gereat, except for when they fall apart. has ne1 else had their nike's fall apart?

Mine are great, and I use them for roller, so that tells you something... The runner has nothing to do with the durability of the boot and having it "fall apart" so I dont know what you mean by my nikes fell apart

The runner feel off? Do you mean that the steel feel out, or that the entire holder feel off? If the latter, did the plastic crack, or did the rivets all pull out? Sounds like it might be something that could be quite easily be fixed.

In that case it sounds like a new holder would be the only way to go. Bummer.

That happened to the lightspeed holder in my vapor XX's. I'm currently really happy with my V-12's that I have now though. Great skate.

I love my v12's, but i have one issue. The top corner of the boot where the eyelets start is pretty sharp, and cut my ankle after a doulbe session practice. There is blood on my boot now, and since i skate so much, the damn thing is having a hard time heal since its getting aggravated everytime i skate

try unlacing your skate and taking a look what it is. If it can be snipped, use pliers or whatever. Or maybe file it off. You know it's a good skate when it cuts your foot and you still like it :lol: .

i like the width of ccm and the tblade feature , but the lightness of nike

so id have to pick ccm

i am in the process of getting my tblades put on my v-12 boots

Nikes are at least as wide as CCMs in my experience.
