Inno Shaft Edge Shapes

Recommended Posts

Is there a chart that shows what names or numbers are describing the edge shapes for Inno Shafts?

I've seen numbers like this describing the shaft: Innovative 1100 5-260 or Innovative Novious 30-260. I'm assuming the first number in the dashed sequence is the shaft shape, and the second is the flex...is this correct?

If so, then I am looking for a chart that shows me what number corresponds to what shaft shape...

Ex: 5 = Squared, etc.

Thanks in advance

Awesome...thanks y'all (gotta throw my southern' in there...sorry). That about gives me what I need.

But in putting this together, I'm guessing the chart Ogie posted refers to the Inno OPS lines, whereas the 24 and 30 probably only apply to the shafts. If this is true, then there probably is only one edge shape to the shafts and it is either standard (24) or tapered (30). Or am I off base here?

Im not so sure. I have a 1100 shaft, in the 11 shape shown on that chart.

Thanks. Jay made that for CB - I was looking for it.

Yep, I'm a corebeam refugee, and that's exactly where I got it from. I also have the flex chart he made too, if you want that as well.

That has to do with the 1100 shaft (and earlier, I suppose). I presume there's some bleed over for the Novius. Since the OPS are just fused with some sort of funky glue, I'm betting that the #'s are similar there as well. As for the 24 or 30, I don't know what that means. You could be right - could stand for std or tapered (shaft), or could be an entirely different shaft handle, or might mean something specific for the novius (such as right or left handed, different levels of concavity, etc).

Ogie - Flex Chart is up at the top. ;)

Also, as to the 24 and 30 shape questions, those two, from what I've seen, only apply to the Novius. 24 is standard Novius and 30 is tapered.

That's definitely the case with the Novius. However over the past year or so I've ordered about 3 or 4 1100 shafts and all 3 tapered shafts had the "30" and the standard had the "24".
