Kor Skates

Recommended Posts

I think I remember a discussion in the past about the new Kor hockey skates. A search turned up empty. Can anyone help me locate this thread, if it was in fact discussed? I found their web site and am curious about MSH feedback on these new skates which are coming out. Hence, my use of the search.

Thanks

Chadd, what are your fist impressions on the skate? Have you tried the skates yet? How do they compare to the synergy 1300? <_<

It's a full eyelet taller than my S500, so I will be using them with one eyelet unlaced. The ones we got were 9s and I need 10 or 10.5 so I have not skated in them. They are slightly heavier than the 1300c but I never cared about pure weight on any skate. I also like the fact they come with a little "arch cookie" to help make sure you get the proper arch chape. Plus they're $100 or so cheaper than the 1300c and come with the pitch holder.

no, more of a 3d triangle that goes under the footbed. I'm interested to see how it works.

Just a quick question to Chadd, JR, or Tyler12. What type of foot did you feel they fit best, like compared to another skate ie: Vapors, Tacks, Vectors? Again just wondering, Thanks.

The have the Kor Shift 1's at my LHS. I was looking at them, depending on how they fit I might take them into serious consideration for new skates this year. Plus's on them were they felt real nice inside, they're composite, but also bakeable, and they have Pitch holders on them, which I've been wanting to try out.

You can call the Kor Hockey company (contact info is on the korhockey.com site) and see if they have a rep in your area. I called and the rep is stopping by next week to fit me up and let me use a pair of demos for 1-2 weeks. :D I can't wait. So far I am very pleased with way the company has dealt with me. I will post a review of the skates on here once I try them.

1-2 weeks won't be enough time for you to submit a review for the review section. You can comment on them in a post, but don't bother doing a detailed review.
