New Hockey Bag

Recommended Posts

It's time for a new hockey bag because the one I use now is ripped to hell. I don't want anything special. Im just looking for like a team bag. I have a few buddies who play juniors and college and they teams give them bags. Im looking for bags like thoes. I tried Ebay and Google with no luck. Any help would be great :D

I really like my Itech Pro Team bag. One big compartment with skate pouches and a few other pouches inside. Its real nice, I'd check it out.

I have an Eagle pro bag (the shiny pvc plastic-type material it is identical to the kind that the pros use. No side bags, wheels, etc. just a big bag with zippers and a see-through plastic pouch on the top for identification. Good durable bag.

Goalie Heaven had some Penguins bags for a while, try calling them. Unless you're going with a pro bag, avoid CCM, their new bags suck in my recent experience.

If you want a BIG roomy bag with killer features, look at the THG Vapor bag. It's a spinoff of the Vapor 10 bag.

I have to agree there. I have the Vapor 10 bag and it's great. The only problem with it is that the skate compartment is inside the bag so I have to dig through all of my crap outside the proshop when I get my skates done. The THG version has the skate pockets on the outside. Wish I had come across that version first.

I still have mine - one of the inner pockets ripped but no big deal.

I'm gonna have to punk out and get a wheeled bag. That trip to Maryland last month broke me...lugging that bag through an airport...ugh

make sure you get a wheel bag that has a rail through the entire bottom, or else your bag is gonna collapse on you when you're wheeling

The mesh on the top vent is a little ripped up but I don't really use it so who cares.

Can't really call you a punk for wanting a wheelbag for the airport, it's a pain in the butt carrying luggage alone. Not to mention a hockey bag and sticks. Just don't use it on regular trips to the rink and you'll be safe. Or you could always kill the first person to make fun of your wheelbag as an example to others. :D

Then I guess you'll need a differnent reason to kill someone. I'm sure you've got plenty of others from dealing with the public though. B)

Like the OCD guy who shopped my store for 2 hrs?

This guy walked the length of the store for two hours. He went through EVERY piece of merchandise we had. It was insane to watch.

iceman, I have one of those bomb-proof bags as well - amazing durability, and good size as well.

Pete's Sports has them as well as Leafs Pro bags, for those interested.

I have a TPS Rubber bag and it is great. Had it for over 2 years now and not one stitch is out of place. Great pockets on the ends for ventilation. Plus, I got mine free so I couldn't beat the price!

I just got a custom bag from MIA sports. Got to chose my colors, features and materials. I think there are other options too like personalizing etc. I haven't used it for long so can't comment on durability, but seems very well constructed and nice and big. Cost was something like C$85 + tax.
