Here is one shot of the heel curve on the Lags Dolomite. I also propped both the Dolomite & the Covert with the Henrique curve (black tape) up against a door frame for this shot, not sure how helpful it is though... Hope one of those is useful.

New sticks! Cannot wait to give these both a try later today on the ice. First Warrior sticks & first one piece sticks too! -The blue one is a Warrior Covert DT3 LT / 85 flex / Henrique curve -The green one is a Dolomite is a 75 Flex / heel curve (similar to Vanek is how Hockey Monkey had it listed) pro stock Lags stick (I think its from Jamie Langenbrunner, which is awesome).

Some new stuff on the way, I've been hard on my gear lately...thankfully most of it was at least a couple of years old. Helmet: Bauer 5100 (black) with a Nike Bauer 8500 Cage Shoulder Pads: Nike Bauer Vapor XXV Elbow Pads: Warrior Franchise Gloves: Nike Bauer Supreme One90 (black - primary) / Nike Bauer Vapor XXX Pro Model (navy, red, & white) Pants: Bauer Supreme One80 (black - tall size) Shin Pads: Bauer Supreme One.8 (15" - cracked the knee area of one of my One 75s) Skates: Bauer Vapor X:40 with yellow Superfeet Sticks: Nike Bauer One95 Shaft (87 Flex) / Easton Ultralight (orange/brown - 100 Flex) both have Mako M5 Blades in the E3 Hall Curve (broke a Synergy ST Blade one week & the Synergy ST shaft the next game at a slashed area that had been slowly breaking over the past year or more...hopefully getting a Warrior Covert DT3LT when they are released) Bag: Warrior Covert Carry Bag (black, blue, & silver) replacing my Nike Bauer Supreme Carry Bag that has an interior lining shedding all over creating bag dandruff all over my gear & house (happy 1.5 month early birthday to me, thanks parental units)

Update to my gear list... These are the same model I've had for a long time (although mine have black covers over the elbow joint, instead of the white ones yours have). I love them, but am curious about the bicep modification if you or Chadd wish to go into more detail since every so often it feels like that area of the is catching or binding with my jersey/other equipment.

So if the eBay auction from TSR said the XXXs I bought were the pro model, will they have the super thin, non-durable palms or something different? Either way I am looking forward to giving them a shot & having this particular color scheme. Link to the gloves I bought, that should be here tomorrow.

I picked up some Bauer XXX Pro gloves in navy with red & silver from Al's Pro Stock on eBay (thanks to this site for introducing me to that site & starting me on a dangerous trend of buying gear I don't necessarily need, but want :P ). I should have them in a little over a week. They are an inch smaller than my NB Supreme One90s, but I figure I can use the for times when contact/slashing is going to be toned down...either way I wanted a pair of USA colored gloves & feared the 15" ones they had would feel way too big.

Explanation please? Just curious why the cut outs helped retain the edge. I still love the look of those old Vapors, one of my favorite skate designs. They didn't fit my foot at all, but they were cool as hell. I think he meant the black coating helped the steel retain an edge, not the perforations. My first pair of inline hockey skates looked like those old Vapors, I hadn't though about those in years.

First post here. :) Helmet: Bauer 5100 (black) with a Nike Bauer 8500 Cage Shoulder Pads: Nike Bauer Vapor XXV Elbow Pads: Jofa 8077 Gloves: Nike Bauer Supreme One90 (black) Pants: CCM V06 (black) Skates: Bauer Vapor X:40 Sticks: Nike Bauer One95 Shaft (87 Flex) with an Easton Synergy ST Sakic Blade, Easton Ultra-Lite Shaft (100 Flex) with an Easton Synergy SC Pro Sakic Blade, & Easton Grip-Lite (110 Flex) Shaft with an Easton Ultra-Carbon Modano Blade (the 2 Easton shafts are probably 5+ years old & were bought before I really knew what I was doing in the equipment world & the Grip-Lite has now been clear coated because the grip coating got WAY too sticky over the years). I also have an Easton Ultra-Lite Modano blade & an Easton Thornton wood blade that came with the Ultra-Lite when it was purchased. Inline: Mission RPM Skates & Mission Matrix Pants combo (I started playing inline, but now have switched to ice & I don't want to go back after one short ice hockey season.)
