Guitar stuff or what ever you play
skyscrape replied to Geeno_56's topic in Miscellaneous Discussions
I agree! The only problem is the only one I found for sale was 699 used(due to not being made anymore). I have the Bottle Rocket which is the single channel version and that thing cranks as well, but it is much more of a one trick pony. -

t is hard to get the gain most want without cranking a tube amp and getting some speaker distortion as well. The grunge pedal was always a good one for crunchy gain. Otherwise try out the Mesa pedals. They are essentially a mesa tube pre-amp and they scream! check it out http://www.musicgoround.com/detail.aspx?id=1069273 -

That is because they do not exist! The simpler the better in my opinion! I play through an Orange AD-30 plugged into a marshall cab with greenbacks. My two channel amp was built by a friend and it is basically tuned to sound like a slightly more aggressive fender twin and the dirty channel runs on el-34's and it is somewhere between marshall gain and Mesa gain. Both are point to point and hand wired. Love my girls. Now I just need to find a good inexpensive bluesy/raw sounding semi hollow body that I can put a hot p90 in the neck and my Tom Anderson level 3 hot humbucker in the bridge. -
Best bands that you're not listening to.

They are a band from Denmark! The lead singer idolizes Johnny Cash, Elvis, and Social Distortion. I saw them live and it chugged along so fast and hard you feel like you are on a runaway train! -

VOLBEAT!!!! Let it get to the fast part before you write it off as country. : ) -
That set up must scream! I love greenbacks! I have a couple Thinline Telecasters that I play through an Orange AD30 that is plugged into a Marshall Vintage Cab full of greenbacks! I love that sound! Hockey gear, guitar gear, and guns! The three best yet worst(in terms of money) addictions you can have!

I am sorry for quoting the pic, but that is beautiful! What amp or amps are you playing it through?

Seeing the skills guys like Zajac and Hall fighting their own fights and proving that guys like Gillies! I mean even Probert scored goals and could play hockey! Hey couldn't skate...but god bless him he was strong! Probert would have just walked up into the locker room and B!@#$ Slapped Gillies. Probert would have just walked up to Gillies and said "Grow up scab!". I want to see Gillies and Carcillo drop em! Get Danny on a off day

Just found out my Dad is going to have open heart surgery within the next month and a half. Thankfully the surgeon is supposed to be amazing, but...he still has an aortic aneurysm at the moment.

HA! They are worse in their mid to late 20's!

I use 5/8 if the ice is fairly soft. Mens league and drop in. If I were to play full contact competitive I would go with 9/16ths or 1/2 inch. The grip in the corners is needed, but for drop in or mens league where you don;t want to wear out and need all the speed I can get I go 5/8ths.

I am about the same weight as you and I liked the 90/75. 90/50 was a lot of glide but felt like i needed to re-sharpen too often.

Congrats! That is Awesome!

That is awesome! All I have is an old scott stevens christian, a igor larionov sherwood, and a Jeff Odgers sherwood from the early nineties.

skyscrape replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2010 Product Catalogue Reviews
Weight. that is it I think The one100 stick did look more like it had a vapor blade on it. I want to try the new total one though! I love the fact that the one100 will be available in 112 flex! -

I wish they offered something to replace the one85 for length! It would be nice to have a 112 flex with only a 2 inch plug instead of a 4 inch plug. Oh well. I will probably still buy one! -
I agree. It is a stick time not designated as a scrimmage. But he or she better make use of the time in my opinion.

Between you r profile pic and those skates, I think I did a little too!
