  1. This is what I am referring to as poor customer service. It makes it hard to sleep easy with 175.00 floating around out there.
  2. It must have been an older page I found online. My issue is that I did not get a tracking number. I was told by the shipper that it was the same tracking number and nothing is showing up under that number. Maybe the issue is with the sender and not USPS. I have a picture of the receipt but no tracking number.
  3. HAHAHA! I am beginning to take this personally! I am upset because I was told that a package that was supposed to be here on the 27th was floating around to be returned to the shipper on the 27th. Then it finally went out the 28th and is still not here. I understand the holidays and travel time, but the lack of tracking availability on parcel post and the mix has me frustrated. Not to mention that when I called the branch where the package was sent from I got the brush off. The guy who answered snapped back with I can not do anything for you be patient it will arrive and hung up. Just offer decent customer service and I will support it. I do not support private businesses with bad customer service, why support government agencies with bad service?
  4. Those grafs are beautiful! Reminds me of a pair I had 15 years ago! 703's with black holders. They look legit!
  5. I am sorry, but this cracked me up! Thank you for that!
  6. ^ Thanks! I love my X:60 Pro's but the palms have had it. I would like to repalm them and add the mesh gussets.
  7. What kind of turn around time?
  8. At least! Good look! Most girls can't pull it off!
  9. Got a call from a friend tonight asking if I wanted to take my parents to see the Blackhawks vs. Sharks tomorrow night! I told him I was in asked how many tickets he has and he said four. Perfect Paul, myself, and my parents. Seats are 2nd row directly behind the net! I have now seen the Redwings and will see the Blackhawks from these seats. I do not see many games, but when I do... The best part of this story is, the last Sharks game I went to was two days before my Dad went into surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm. They lost that game. In fact I almost lost it when my dad looked at me and said they "had no heart" I was terrified. I just had this feeling like it wasn't going to be ok. The day he had his surgery and I saw him in the ICU in a medicated coma still intubated I had to hold it together for my mom. But I was dying inside. I went home that night and while we waited for a call from the hospital to tell us he was awake I watched the Sharks go down 4-0 I thought the game was over and was worrying more that things were bad with Dad. The Dr. said that since he was dead on the table for 25 minutes while they replaced his aorta that waking up would tell us if he suffered any brain injury from the procedure. 4-1. I kept watching. 4-2. I smiled for a moment. I think they called right around 4-3 and told us he was awake, alert, and breathing on his own! He made it through the procedure! 4-3 and 4-4 were a blur. Then Setoguchi did it in OT and I lost it! They may not have won the cup this year, but they did it on a day I needed it most! I am not sure why I went so far into detail on this, but I just wanted to get the point across that this game will mean a lot to me. I get to go with my dad yet again. I guess I just want everyone to really think about the people they love in their life and make sure you tell them. You never know how many more games you will get to see.
  10. Don't give up on her. Maybe something really came up.
  11. Why do we get the narrow at the base cups and Euro's get the cup that actually covers things up!
  12. You mean orthotics right? I am assuming you do not have braces or a retainer in your skates.
  13. Online dating sucks! Just be honest and post an honest pic. If you are tiny up top and built like a mac track waist down. Explain it or show it! It almost would not matter if I knew what to expect when I showed up!
  14. But it is right handed. Interesting
  15. What curve is it? A true Kovalev?
  16. Skate: Bauer Vapor APX 12D Foot Type: I mainly wear Chuck Taylors so I would say narrow foot for the most part. A little wider in the forefoot but not drastically wider. I do run into depth problems in a lot of skates including all other Vapor Skates around the 5th eyelet from the top. Ht./Wt.: 6'7 300 lbs. Play Level: A level adult league. Play both D and Forward Previous skates worn: 652 Tacks and Graf 703's as a bantam and Midget. These were size 10 and 10.5 NBH One95 12EE and Bauer X:60 11.5 EEboth When I was 13 I was already 6' 195lbs so I needed a stiffer boot so I went to Grafs. My feet hurt pretty much all game, but it was better than the Tack fit was for me. As far as new Tech skates go, the One95's were sold to me as my first skate back into the game. I had no idea how they were supposed to fit. So, when I put my foot in they felt so comfortable and much stiffer than anything I had ever skated or even tried on for that matter. My problem was the fit. I am not a 12EE so my foot slipped a lot and they felt like I was wearing boxes for skates. Then I went against wise advice I received here and bought the X:60's. I was willing to suffer a bit with the slight depth issues I had in the skates in order to get rid of all the negative space. What I did not realize was how much a flattened arch screws things up. I was completely compressing my arch in order to get my skates as tight as I needed. Again bad fit. Instead of explaining what happened in the buying process of the APX here, I will do it below. Fit (9.5/10) First off, I would only give a perfect score on these skates if they were custom. One foot is slightly shorter than the other. So I am guessing I would be a 11 3/4 and an 11.5 matchup. So a 12 is almost perfect on one foot and slightly long on the other. Depth- I was informed by JR that the APX has more depth in areas than the traditionally lasted Vapor line and he is right. I pass the pencil test in these skates. Which allows almost NO space or shifting in the boot. Width- My biggest problem in the oNE95 was that I was using innersoles and thick socks to take up negative space. This was a band aid not a fix. The width in the APX feels a little wider than the X:60 which allowed me to go with the D width APX. I have no and I repeat no movement inside the APX boot! I do not need any arch help from innersoles either. Toe Cap- Seems like More room than the X60 as well. But much more streamlined than the one95 toe cap to me. This could be due to the comfort liner and ergo toe innersole. Comfort- This is a huge part of the skate!!!!! It feels like a slipper! The innersole that comes with the skate has the ergotoe flaps that wrap up around the forefoot. This innersole alone makes this skate by far the most comfortable skate I have ever put on my feet. The rest of the boot design and liner makes it head and shoulders above the competition (in my opinion). Having the proper fit is very important, so my comment here is based off of the creature comforts alone. Only complaint is the tongue could be smoother on the inside up top. The tongue has rolled on the edges at the seams and I have to really think about the position of the tongue as I am lacing them up. If they could somehow put a felt like material all the way to the edges it would complete the quality of comfort experienced everywhere else in the boot. Blade/Holder (9/10) I love the Tuuk lightspeed 2 holders! I am still not sure how I feel about the Fusion steel. I like it enough to not switch out the steel until I need to, but will I spend the money when I have to(or better yet, is it important enough to spend the money over step steel), I am not sure yet. Weight (10/10) By far they feel like the lightest skate I have ever put on my feet. Again the fit may play a huge part in this, due to the fact that my One95' are light and the x60's were light as well. Protection (10/10) I have blocked shots and aside from one right on the knot of my laces that was slightly off center to the inside of my foot, none have hurt. That one didn't hurt per say, but it was like a throbbing dead foot! It was sore the next day, but considering it was a slap shot from closer than ten feet I would say pretty good protection. Durability (9.5/10) The paint, dye, or sublimation that they used for the red has scuffed off in spots. When I say scuffed I mean half inch scuffs. I am sure things might be different in a full contact league, but at the level I play I am going on 6 months I believe and they still shine under lights. Other than that no durability issues! Not sure if this is really a durability comment but, I was one of the guys that would say buy Canadian made hockey equipment! My one95's were Canadian made. When I really started playing a lot something felt off. I looked at the skates and the holders were misaligned to the point where I could look down while on my feet and on one skate you could see the holder peeking out and on the other skate you could not. This is more than a 1/4 inch difference. Not too mention that the one that was moved back was also slightly angled like a snow plow. This was what put me on the warpath for new skates. My APX are not Canadian made and the quality control seems to be better as far as my experience goes. So do not write these off just because they are not made in Canada. Performance (10/10) I had no idea how much speed and agility I was missing out on by wearing skates that do not fit right! I realized this during the first shift in the APX! Agility- Huge improvements due to the lateral stiffness of the boot! I used to flex the x60's laterally in crossovers which would affect my balance and power coming out of the crossovers. The best way I can explain this is that I thought I just had form issues. Instead it was more like a torquey car with bad tires. Yes I know I could have improved with what I had, but the point is these skates instantly fixed my issue. I can now power through turns and crossovers like never before(both forward and backward). These skates are ski boot stiff laterally but compared to my one95's they feel like they are easier to flex forward which surprised me. But then again it may be because the boot is so stiff I am skipping the top eyelet. I could not skip the top eyelet on my one95's due to causing slippage. I had guys asking me what I had done differently to improve so much and I have to say it is the skates. Acceleration- Again guys were asking what I was doing differently. Explosive acceleration is the best term I can use when explaining how I feel in these skates. I believe this is due to the great forward flex I get out of these skates. Overall Assessment (97%) I have to say I will not change skates. In fact next season I may get a pair of customs or a replacement pair in the same size, that way when these wear out I will not have to consider any other skate. BOTTOM LINE- If they fit you and you have the money, you will not be sorry! I hope this helps.

    Bauer TotalOne

Bauer Total One Flex:102 Curve: P91a GripTac Time-frame of use: 6+months Aesthetics: At first I was not really a fan of the color scheme, but this quickly became irrelevant once I fell in love with the stick! 8/10 Weight and balance: The lightest stick I have used and more importantly felt comfortable with in my hands! The balance of the stick in my opinion is amazing! 10/10 Blade: The blade took a little getting used to coming from one95's. It felt more lively to me. Passes would bounce ahead sometimes, but I blame my stone hands more so than the blade! It has taken a beating and probably 600 slap shots and my first blade finally softened a little. Once that happened it seemed that it improved my snap and wrist shots. By soft I mean not as rigid. It is far from being "Soft". The only thing I would change is make it feel closer to a one95. 9/10 Shaft/Flex: This took me a second to adjust too coming from one95's. Once I figured out where my placement of the lower hand should be, I like it so much more! I love the dimensions. The square shaft fits my hands a lot better. All my shots are faster, my release feels quicker, and in my opinion it has held it's pop a lot longer than my one95's did. 10/10 Stickhandling & Passing: As I said before, I do not have the best hands. I am more of a power player. That being said, there is no stick at this point where I feel as comfortable or better yet capable with. Single handed moves are a breeze. Passing is crisp and consistent. Stretch saucer passes are a breeze. 10/10 Shooting: Shooting with this stick is the best part! I love slap shots with the totalone! More like total cannon! Accuracy is great. The only stick I felt like I had more power with was a prostock S19 I had. But it took a lot of effort to outshoot the totalone. Because of the effortless shot I would take the totalone over the s19 hands down. 10/10 Durability:I have played both D and forward in our top tier beer league(lots of hard stick checking) and aside from a couple scratches it still is holding up. As I stated earlier, it has not whipped out or even come close. I take maybe 200 slap shots a week between stick time and games. I am also 6'6 300 lbs. so if it hasn't whipped out for me...I would say it should hold up for most. So in my mind durability is amazing for a top end stick. 10/10 Conclusion: This is the stick i compare all others to. I have tried out a fair amount as well. U+CL, 11K, Dolo, AK27, S19, EQ50, X:60, ST, One95, One85. I would have to say though in order to make it a 10/10 stick I would change the blade feel more toward a one95 and I would change the graphics a bit. So in the end I will rate it a 9.5 I have tried other sticks hoping to improve only because I am a nut case like that, but I always come back. It feels better each time I do it as well. You should highly consider this stick If you want a stick that has loads of power, durability, great feel, and that is light as well.
