    Is the picture playing tricks on my eyes or does it look like there's a bit of reverse rake? Looks like you may feel like you're on your heels when skating around. That's the one regret i had when converting my X60's -- should've used shims.

    I absolutely agree. This is the first helmet that has been free of pressure points or empty fitting areas. It really feels like my head is being hugged.

    Interesting. I guess you used locktite on the bolts? Also -- can you feel the bolts under the sole? That would really bother me. Nice self-jobber though!

    Damn you, joel. the pictures make me even more mad at the fact that i didn't go. Franchises for 60!?!?! what size is he? Nice pick ups! Interesting to see that Versteeg's helmet is a RBK even though he used CCM in games. Maybe this was a practice helmet?

    Philadelphia Flyers equip sale will be Sept 14th at one of their Virtua Skate Zones (i'm guessing the one in Voorhees, NJ since that's where they practice). Time not announced, at least not yet. The teaser pic on facebook looked real enticing (especially when it came to sticks). Since it was announced on such a large media outlet like facebook, lines will probably be epic.

    probably that and it's probably lighter and helps wick moisture better? Seems as if a lot of companies are moving towards that trend. Even the new Bauer 4 rolls have a lighter less traditional interior.

    There were custom white 2010 Bauer 4 rolls offered by Pure Hockey, but i'm pretty sure none of them were THAT white. I had the white and royal ones myself. The 2011 line, however, does come in all white. Cam's all white ones are the 2010 model, which is what intrigues me :) 2010: 2011:

    i ended up liking by Nike Bauer Vapor XXXX's so much that i've upgraded to the X60's got them brand new for $250 off of a woman selling them on Craigslist :)
