  1. ordered an 85 draper 2010 dolomite, got a 85 fedorov 2009 dolomite =\. at least they got the lefty right
  2. i am hoping that is not right..... if so then not sure what the 6'4" guy is gonna use lol and im ordering DJ200's if theres a difference in sizing between the two also thanks everyone for the input
  3. Can anyone suggest what size jersey to get for someone 6'4"? Also can I assume the sizes are similar to the Firstar jerseys? edit: actually can anyone suggest height ranges for all sizes? or let me know what size you use and how tall you are and how it fits. I'm ordering a set for my team btw, I don't find it easy using the chest size and length in the sizing chart, hope its not just me
  4. finally got my bunga heel pads. was wondering if anyones had any durability issues with them. im worried about the gel peeling off the fabric. also do most people wear it over or under the sock? i see that one photo crosby is wearing over
  5. so after a few days of emailing back and forth, the CEO from bungapads.com got a hold of the emails i was exchanging with the customer service dept and offered me 50% off shipping. the guy was really nice, i was trying to find some stores that purchase the pads around my area and he suggested a few but none of them had stock or the ones around canada didnt have online stores. instead of driving an hour to my closest shop and an hour home to pay $34 after tax (not including ridic gas prices), i'm now paying almost the exact same amount and i dont have to leave the house! at first when i saw the 50% off shipping i was like.... thats nice.... then when i read the last sentence, it made me 100% sure i was buying from them
  6. theres 2 close by that don't have them, another one an hour drive away has them. using them as a last resort
  7. trying to avoid the $26 shipping to canada
  8. so on the 3rd game in 3 days, i could feel the pad peeling off a little bit mid game. the heel gel is still well in tact and after i took my foot out, the adhesive still seemed to be working ok. dont think this is gonna be a good long term solution
  9. well i purchased them, for science it was hard to place in the boot, had to undo all the laces and pull the tongue up. had some issues with it in the beginning when i put my skate on or take it off, loosening the laces more than i normally do solved that problem. also i take my insoles out when i air my skates out and its pretty hard to take them out without peeling the gel off. as for on ice, my bump is not as red as it normally is after playing. just played 2 games in 2 days, have another tomorrow so i'll see how it holds up then but signs are pointing out that these gel pads are working fine.
  10. i tried the superfeet, did not help that problem but helped other ones has anyone heard anything about these heel gel pads that stick inside the boot? think i might try them, $9 for 2 of them at one of my local shops. i couldnt find bunga pads anywhere close or they said they were sold out. gotta drive about an hour if i want to get one http://www.hockeymon...el-gel-pad.html i think my main issue would be the durability of the adhesive. having to slip skates on and off im afraid it's gonna start peeling off after a few uses
  11. anyone have any issues with only using 1? i only need it for my right heel, do i need to buy both to even it out?
  12. do they sell them in any mainstream retail stores? in vancouver
  13. same here. had some discomfort for a little bit in the beginning but the bump now isnt really irritated in my skates. i had x40's for about 2 years and had 0 problems, then got x60's and about 3 months into skating on them only my right foot developed the bump. i only felt the irritation when i was walking around, but on the ice i could never feel the pain at all. i was experimenting with putting different things in the boot but now i dont need to put anything in it
  14. now that you mention that i totally forgot i did a mediocre review a while ago on a stick http://www.hockeytron.com/tr158.html#.T-d94rVYttE first 3 star review is mine
  15. holy crap i want those shoes
  16. lol'd when i saw this http://www.hockeytron.com/tr405xs.html might as well call it EasTron RS

  18. not sure if this has been said already, but i just mounted my tron visor right on top of my oakley spacers and they fit perfectly :)
  19. broke 3 tron elite sticks since november. bought 2 of them in nov, broke one in 2 weeks then broke that replacement, now one of the originals i bought broke. stick is great and all, minus them breaking. they all broke in different spots. one on the middle of the shaft, one on the lower shaft and one on the throat just my opinion and i dont have a ton of experience with checking quality, but as i see the stick wearing down in some spots, the material doesnt seem very strong. i notice a little chip or a crack early on, and then eventually thats where it breaks. i am by no means a reckless player, and im also not a super strong person. i'm 5'6"
  20. anyone know anything about their Elite stick stock? apparently they are terrible at answering emails now
  21. depends, how nice was the goal? :)
  22. I bought 2 of them and have been using them for about 3 weeks now. I had one break on shot block (the guy had a REALLY REALLY hard slap shot, had one bruise my shin through my shin pads on another block). other than that, the stick is really great for its price. it feels as light as a totalone. i wouldnt say im a pro but im an above average player. the stick has increased my wrist shot a lot, but im still trying to find the right point for my slapper. im used to a 102 flex stick and going down to a 85-90 could be that difference. puck feel is lacking a bit, but i still love the sticks and would probably keep ordering them without a thought if i didnt have to go through the pain of shipping to canada. i broke my stick last thursday and it being the holidays(for americans) i havent received an e-mail back yet about my warranty, so im hoping the customer service pulls through here soon. i was asking quite a few questions before i bought the sticks through e-mail and i always had replies back within 24 hours.
  23. well i got my tron elite sticks. i got 2 malki (p92) curves and one of them looks a little off like the curve starts at the heel but not a biggy the stick feels super light, didnt measure it exactly but it does feel as light as a total one. only complaint is it could be a little better balanced. so far i am very happy with what i got for what i paid. going to go to stick and puck for a full test run next week. i only used it for a few shifts today in a game
  24. anyone got Tron Elite sticks? i got told in an email that the first batch sold super fast and they took them off the website cuz they dont want to oversell. wondering if i should wait to order when they get more or just go for an LE.
