I had that problem ( I used the stock insoles) but i realized i was used to tying my skates too tight (like i use to) once i played around with that it all went away. -
Switzerland has done well. I think Vaughn move is a good one there is still a niche market that they can work.
-
Thanks!!!

Is there a way to order custom Graf skates from the Switzerland factory from here in the US?
-
How's the volume of the super tack skates? Thats my biggest problem, the tacks right now have plenty for me just hoping these do as well.
-
Would it have more depth than the Jetspeed? The Tacks right now have plenty but im in between both.
-
+1 Will they be available for a custom order? Don't know if depth wise it would work for me but would love a pair.
-
Can you set up an appointment with them? Most reps have no idea how to fit. It's very sad. Very few guys have any idea what they are doing and even fewer that are actually good at fitting.

I understand everyone's point on the exchange rate any the fluctuations but one thing I must say having the skates over a year and a half, skating 3 to 5 times a week. Is that VH skates and company do provide very very good customer service.I can't tell you how many times I email scott and he got right back to me. Always willing to help out any way he could. I've used all the big guys CCM Bauer Easton and can say I never got that type of service from them. I'd that worth a bit more..... to me yes. -

I spoke to Scott earlier last month. They have a plastic toe cap that will be used or become available this summer. As for me my toe caps are holding up great I skate anywhere between 2 & 3 times a week. And I have had mine since June 2013. -
Does this relate to length as well? I.e. a 7ee is 7 in length not a 7 1/4?
-
LOL :-D
-
They did a single piece? May I ask how much?

I have 2 pairs. In what sense do they look "cheap"? Is it the polished carbon fiber, the clean cut synthetic leather, or the Vh logo? I have had quite a few pairs of skates including CCM CL Easton Mako Bauer Apx Apx2 Nxg and the VH are very very well built. Your making your judgement off of a picture. IMO I'm glad to see skates that are cleaner (more simple) I.e. the VH skates and the Nexus skate lines. -

The insoles are comfortable but the boot is what gives you the arch support. -

How can I go about ordering a custom order? I have a buddy that recently ordered some custom blade from s Sherwood/Tps before the move and I was wondering if you would still have those blades on file or if not how could I get the same pattern on a custom order?- 44 replies

One at a time 10 min each side at 180º if I remember correctly. Also I put a silicone baking sheet under my skate to prevent any burning. One at a time 10 min each side at 180º if I remember correctly. Also I put a silicone baking sheet under my skate to prevent any burning. -

The weight is unreal even with regular step steel. I can't imagine with the fusion runners. -

I asked for a very anatomical toe cap and love it its perfect. Scott stands behind these skates and works tirelessly until your happy. He's always taken care of me. That work ethic and business ethic is very rare these days. -

For the response time Scott normally gets back to you within a day or two. After you send the order form Scott normally emails you with any questions he might have. Now the more information you give him the better, how you want the skate to fit any abnormalities your foot might have.
