A teammate of mine gave me a lightly-used set of E-Pro Step steel from his old pair of CCM Externos. When I tried to put them on my U+12 E-Pro's, the hardware wouldn't fit through the holes in the steel. I tried replacement hardware and it was still too big for the Step steel. Any suggestions?

I was frustrated, but like many other people here, I do have several other pairs of gloves to fall back on. What was almost as shocking is how small those are for a 13" glove.

I'm not sure whether I like the cage. The bars are noticeably thicker than the 9900 cage I had on my 5100 helmet. I'll probably try the 9900 this weekend and see how I like it.
