  1. Me too. Tried the 16k and the top strap just below the knee was extremely tight. And I have small legs. I'm 5'8 these were a 14. The shoulder pads are comfortable. Only tried the 16,14 and 12k. 20k elbow pads are sick. I think I'd be a medium although the strap around my forearm is almost too long and the one around my bicep is tight. I am going to decide between these, the 18k or new dynasty.
  2. Negative one inch on the standard cuff that comes on the stock ones you get on the shelf? I tried on 13 narrow fit today and they do come over the slash guard of my elbows
  3. Think I'm close to ordering warrior just need to figure a few things out. On the stock warrior I noticed that above the size "13 or 14" there is a nr or sr. I'm assuming the nr is narrow fit and sr regular fit? If so I like the nr fit better. Still trying to decide on cuff. I don't like when gloves over lap my elbow pads that's why i like my reebok. http://www.google.com/search?q=reebok+7000+gloves&client=safari&hl=en&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=sFmFUburEbTh0wHrlYBg&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=320&bih=416#biv=i%7C0%3Bd%7C6o1PrDMbd6zglM%3A Which would be a shorter cuff most similar to those.
  4. Thanks is there a consensus as to which cuff seems to be most mobile? My reebok's have a short cuff and good mobility. Is there any benefit to getting the cuff carbon vs going all tufftek or is it just all personal?
  5. Where do u go through to get the different cuff options? I like my reebok 7000hg cuff so looking for something similar. Also, sizing. In Bauer four rolls, Bauer vapor APx pro, my Reebok four rolls I wear a size 13 and all of them. I could probably go with a 13 or 14 seems like I am in between sizes but I just prefer the fit and feel of the 13. I'm guessing that I would also be 13 in the franchise NARrow fit ? Excuse my grammar I'm trying to ease this stupid voice to text on my iPhone
  6. I just messed with the customizer Chose 13 narrow franchise All material is tufftek All colors are red except for print. Print is white on white. Chose full cuff roll writing. New franchise Micro Nash combo palm. Is this what's on standard? I like thinner palms vs the thicker palm on Bauer 4 rolls. Is this the right choice? Also chose 3d mesh gussets. What's the advantage/disadvantage of these? Trilam foam. Have no clue on this. I didn't see where u can choose hossa or kovalchuk cuff.
  7. I bet after one hard skate length will be perfecy
  8. Mine felt perfect after Baking and feel a tad long long and the ankle a little wider now. But I guess u can heat the ankle up and press according to the video. Next size down was 5.5 and my foot was not going in there. I'm a 8.5 sneaker and 8 maybe could go to 7.5 in dress shoes. It's weird, according to the Bauer foot measuring thing I should be a 7 in theirs but I wear a 6
  9. I gained a little length after a few skates. Ur heel settles back a little but. Same thing happened with my vapor 4.0
  10. I'm thinking about getting custom franchise's. I'd buy the regular narrow fit ones if they came in all red like the Detroit red wings color way. I have reebok all red hg7000 but am looking for a second pair. How long can I expect the custom franchise to last playing 2-3 days a week? Also, anybody willing to help me out because I do not know what all the options mean as far as cuff, material, gusset and palms go.
  11. Where can I get some red wing type all red gloves? Not many are made off the shelf all red
  12. I got to try the AX2 elbow. They were a great fit for me, but a little too much pad. I really want to check out the ax3 and if the fit/strapping system is similar I may get them. also waiting to try the ax3 shoulder pads. Got to try on the AX1 shin. They were also a bit much padding for my level of play. Looking to change out my current shins so may wait for the ax2 or ax3. My problem with a lot of shins is how small my legs are. the calf wrap on the bauer supreme line goes all the way past the velcro.
  13. Not sure if you were answering me about my tongue issue. I was just checking to see if this is something I should put in for warranty. If so, I will take them to the shop I bought them from.
  14. Is anybody else having an issue like this with the tongue? It's starting to come apart on the side. Is this something I should contact them about for warranty. I worry about it getting worse
  15. What did you use to do that? I don't mind the silver but the orange...
  16. Yes I saw them last week. I think the fit seemed really similar to the previous model. The materials especially The palm felt more comfortable in the new one. If you like the anatomical fit of the Supremes I think you'll like the way they feel. I am more of a smaller four roll like the Reeboks or tapered fit like Bauer vapor
  17. I'm a 8.5 sneaker, 8 dress shoe and a 6 in Bauer vapor x4.0 I tried on the 6 mako, hard to get in but I did. Toes were touching the front. I wanted to be sure do I tried a 5.5 (junior size). I ended up getting my foot in but I had to curl my toes to fit. I went with the 6
  18. Any actual release date on the protective yet? A post on Twitter said sometime in April but no date
  19. First league game in them last night. I was asked if I was wearing my wife's skates. I ended up scoring a natural hattie. I would never say its the equipment but I felt great out there. Stable and no pain.
  20. Stand by. I failed also by a little and 3 hours on them no lace bite
  21. I dont know. I bought them at a shop where the guys had gone to some type of Easton work shop with Dave C. They said they got proper instruction on how to bake and spot heat afterward. They actually baked them before I made my final decision. About 15 -20 mins baking then I sat in them for like 20. They fit so great I bought.
