    I don't pass the pencil test in makos supreme or vapor but doesn't bother me in the mako. Not sure why

    I have makos now which fit ok, but the only bauer I like (just trying on) are the nexus. My foot is small length wise, size 6, but normal width and arch. The other bauers at that size are just too shallow.

    After having mako 2's for months I started to develop two small round sores about an inch above the bone on the outside of each ankle (1 sore on each). Finally figured out what I THINK it is. The outside of my ankle/leg is rubbing on the inside of the eyelet at times. I took my sock off put my foot in and it lines up almost perfectly. I go tongues in, shins over top. What the heck is going on? Is it the way I skate? The tongue not sitting right?

    Only issue I had with mako 1 was the tongue wore out on the outside causing some rubbing on my leg. Skates held up fine over a year 2-4 days a week skating. Still have then as a back up to the mako 2's. Never had the wobble in these but did in my vapor 4.0's.

    I'm getting the clicking thing with my blades when I walk. Tried everything to fix it. Sometimes worse than others. I can actually feel it move down a little when I pick my foot up. Blades make weird squeal when I turn fast, tight. Should I worry it?

    I have the rbz130. Hardly notice them.

    I saw them today and they look real nice. Tongue looks good and they may feel a tad stiffer than the original ones.

    Is the strap system on the RBZ the same as the CL? I picked up a pair of RBZ 130 shoulder pads and really like them three skates in.

    Yeah, may pick up some if the new shoulder pads. Probably the u12 equivalents in new line. Hopefully they come out in the spring.

    Go to a store and try stuff on. Go middle of the line retail on shoulder elbow and shin. Find a helmet that fits ur noodle. I have bauer reakt helmet and cage, reebok 14k shoulders, warrior dynasty ax2 elbow and shins. Plenty of protection.
