  1. Sorry to bump this thread, but I have a 55% off code that was given to our Roller hockey team for these skates. If anybody wants to try these I'd be happy to share, just message me. Expires June 1st 2023. I have a 40% code for the LG9, and Kv2 as well.
  2. Not sure if this place is even alive anymore but I couldn't find any reviews on Reddit or Youtube. Anybody rocking these and how do they perform compare to others? Bones Swiss Super 6 are my favorite with the 6 balls but they're getting expensive, and if you buy them on Ebay/Amazon, changes are you're getting a fake china replica. Same with the classic Bones Swiss bearings. Being that this is a 6 ball bearing, I am intrigued if anybody has tried them?
  3. The 76s's are XXX. XX is harder than 76 - 78, maybe? They don't make a 74a grip in that wheel.
  4. Late to the party here, but if you're using it outdoor, you're probably not taking advantage of a mid-kick anyway since you'll be destroying your blade with those types of shots. I'd say get a low-kick, but the ball is so light I don't know how much flex you're really going to be pushing into your shots without probably shooting over the net a few times during the game even with a p88. In all honesty, it probably doesn't matter much. Unless I'm playing Ice, I'm not too worried about the mid or low flex in the stick during inline ball/puck leagues, as long as I like the control and accuracy of the stick.

  6. Did you receive them? If so, how are they?
  7. Just wanted to update everybody on these Labeda Slime wheels. After about 8-10 skates, the wheels have fall off the hubs on the front wheel, or any wheel I move to the front. (3 total). If you flex the wheel in your hand, you can feel each one have a little wiggle off the hub, but the fronts have completely come off during skates. The wheels end up horizontal over the front of your chassis, creating quite a struggle getting the wheel and axle off. I have photos if anybody really would like to see them. I contacted Labeda vendors but they don't get back to me. I'll be making the switch to Pure X now.
  8. @eastside I wanted grab some additional colors since finding out the hardness is all the same for each wheel color, but all the Labeda vendors I contacted (which I was told to do) haven't answered. Right now they say to just contact the vendors. I may contact my tournament vendor if the wheels hold up. @Bender94 You're not the first to tell me about the durability, so we'll see how they hold up. So far, it's been a few weeks without any signs of cracking, but I also added a Pure +1 wheel as the second 76mm wheel on each skate.
  9. Has anybody tried these wheels? I was able to grab a set off a vendor at a tournament a few weeks ago. I only saw one hardness - ultra grip, but the wheels really keep their speed while providing a lot of grip. It took a skate or 2 to adapt with top-end aggressive stopping, but I'm really enjoying these wheels a lot more than the addictions.
  10. Typically, the chassis is the setup for Hi-low, not as much the boot. Although, some chassis might not be a perfect fit for different boots. If you bring it somewhere they can line it up and let you know immediately if there's going to be a problem.
  11. Good to know. I might just consider getting all +1's again if they will have a little more grip. I'm only 165lbs but I typically prefer a harder wheel with grip and speed over a xsoft grippy wheel.
  12. I'm waiting on the Pure X. I have 2 sets of the Pure +1 wheels. I probably should have gotten the +0 being only 165lbs, but I usually go for a 76a which provides a little more speed. I consider myself an advance skater so I didn't think it would be a big deal, but the +1 don't feel as grippy as I would like. The first 2-3 were like a break-in period with very little grip, after that I got comfortable with them but I think still think I should have gone with the +0. I'll probably split it up with the pure x. 2 +0's and 2+1.
  13. Best bearings i've ever used and it seems everybody has caught on. The price on Super 6 has really gone over up the last few years. It's a shame, I need new bearings now but I can't dish out $100+ anymore. I'm considering dropping back down to super reds, but I've been so spoiled with super 6.
  14. I'd also recommend getting away from the 74a. Move to the 76a, regardless if you're 150 pounds.
  15. I'm having trouble buying new inline skates. I consider myself an above average skater, w/ plenty of speed and balance, etc. I use to put on any pair of skates, tie them and find a way to use them. Didn't matter if they were top of the line or a borrowed pair. A little background - I played forward most of my life but switched to defense and played nothing but defense for a solid 3-4 years. I've been playing both positions switching back and forth when needed for the last 3 or so years, mostly on offense. During that run of playing only defense, I started tying my skates tighter and even wrapping the laces around my ankle. I don't know why, but I did... When I needed new skates it was difficult to find ones that fit right. Too much room at the ankle / too much flex forward. I eventually picked up the high end Bauer XRPro's and they didn't feel comfortable at first, but good enough and I adjusted to them, but still tied them tight. I now need, or want, brand new skates again and I find myself in a similar situation. I bought the Mission's AC1's a few years ago on clearance and never used them. I got a really good price online so I could only get 1 size down instead of 1 1/2 - which I blamed not using them on, but it seemed to be kinda' the same problem with the top ankle. So I continued to use my Bauer skates. Since then I've tried on Tour Code 1, Mission DS2, and one of the higher Bauer models. I looked at the Mission NLS 1, but the price range is a bit steep right now. So what is my problem? Do I need to adjust with the ankle room after years of tying the skates too tight? Baking the skate didn't seem to help. Are these skates just too big? I feel like I've tried smaller sizes, about as small as I could go but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I use standard D size skates and I can try to double bake the skate, but that would be another purchase that might not work out since you can't bake and try, before you buy. The skates I currently own (Bauer), are still in good enough condition to continuing using, but in my mind if I went a little looser, I may gain an extra step and more than anything it's bothering me that I can't wear new skates. Any advice?
  16. I've changed the laces to a bright yellow since the photo. Boot: Easton S12 BlackChassis: 6000 Series Aluminum HI-LO Vanguard 76/80mmWheels: LABEDA Dynasty 3X-SoftBearings: Bones Swiss Bearings Durability sucked. The eyelets ripped really fast and then the material ripped through while tightening the skates up. Some eyelets are now useless, the biggest being the top right on the left skate. I've used them for about a year. 6'1, 170-175'ish lbs. Playing 2 times a week for the first part of that year, 2-3 during the second half. They were really stiff and had zero forward flex until I got them baked. They felt amazing after that, although the foot speed is either lacking with these skates or I'm just slower now that I'm 30. I have a pair of CCM U CL's that I thought about converting with the chassis but I haven't gotten around to that. Purchased those on clearance around the same time. I also just purchased Bauer's XR's - 25% off their clearance price. Came to $260 for those. They look better than the XR5's, but I'm not sure if I want to use those now or just convert the CCM's and keep the XR's for backup. My biggest issue with skates these days are the top ankle area. Every skate feels big like I can wobble my ankle, although the bottom part of my ankle is tight in the skates.
  17. Just ordered the x19 stick off Hockeytron. Has anybody used this stick? I've ordered the Tron LE (compared to S16) for dirt cheap, although, I never used it because it's too blade heavy, and nothing like the S16 in my opinion. I also ordered the Elite Anchor, but because the mid-heel blade pattern is typically out of stock, I've only used the stick in free skate sessions. The X19, had the mid-heel curve, and if it feels and shoots like the Mako, i'll definitely be happy with it for actual games. I actually purchase from Hockeytron quite often. All reviews below are based on inline hockey. Elite gloves: Awesome feel and durability has been great. No rips in the palm which has been my Achilles heel with gloves. Elbow Pads 80-90: Haven't used them yet. My current jersey is tough to pull over the pads so I've been waiting until my team is ready to change logos and get better jerseys. Tape & S10 Pucks - Pucks are great for practice and open hockey. I will always prefer IDS pucks for games. Tera HZ indoor wheels: Great price. Great results. The grip doesn't fade nearly as fast as some of the higher end wheels. The wheels are cheap enough to replace when needed, especially with specials they always have running. I think I buy more Phat tape than anything else from hockeyTron. I was going to purchase the high-end Tron inline pants, but I just had a coupon for the high-end Valken - expecting that with the x19 order. **My only bad experience with HockeyTron is that I ordered the Tron 80-90 gloves in the wrong size, sent them back and never received them back in the right size. (my mistake for not including shipping for them to be returned and getting Ben's messages a little late) I was able to contact them and the plan was to add them to an order I just placed over the web. I received my order order receipt as well as the receipt for the new order which actually had the elbow pads added as if I was purchasing them again. Both orders showed up on my bank statement as holds, and eventually the more expensive order went through. I was supposed to be credited back that amount, but I don't think that has ever happened. I don't recall seeing it on my statements. Being able to use multi-coupons would be great. Would be an easy way to take advantage of the 30% off without having to call and get the order changed.
