    Alarm was set for 5 AM this morning to open shop by 7:30 AM, cat yak wakes me at 4:30 AM instead. The guy with keys to close the shop at 8 PM tonight slices his finger on the cross grinder. He goes to the ER, cut ligaments, broken finger, stitches. I'm here until 8 PM + final close. Can't wait for more bullshit later. Cold beers when I get home. FTS.

    I know a shop that did them for someone else, not named Olli Jokinen. The player has Jokinen's Pro Stock ONE95 and wanted the exaxt same skate. The shop got them made through Bauer Custom in St. Jerome.

    I notice that customers who are jerks stay true to themselves and act like jerks all year long. At this time of year there may be a few beginner kids with mom or dad that need everything for camp. They want to be fitted for everything so they can "see if the neighbor's equipment will fit first before buying everything. Then we'll come back to get what doesn't fit." I told him to bring in the gear and I could tell him what didn't fit. He did buy skates and a helmet combo on Tuesday with me fitting his kid, but he never came back. And I did fit the kid with every piece of gear so he knew what would fit. Not the first time, won't be the last..............

    Depends who is bidding. Might get only $20 or might get $75. Some of the Buy It Now prices on those old gloves are not realistic at all. That is why the same gloves have been sitting there for months on Buy It Now.

    Still looking for my holy grail gloves: Winnwell 627 mitts, circa mid 60s. Check out any mid 60s Maple Leafs photo. That is the glove all those Leaf teams wore.

    MTO product has to be ordered when your LHS does his booking order. Sometimes there is limited inventory in MTO product available at different times in the year.

    Unless she is skating a lot between now and September, I really find it hard to sell skates at this time of year when the kids can no longer wear their skates for Spring hockey. I hope she skates all year round! :)

    These came into the shop for sharpening. Circa 1985 in excellent condition. The interior ankle pads were a problem with these skates. A lot of guys cut them.

    For shits and giggles, Green = Coffey and Theo = Fuhr, both full right goalies. I won't compare the forwards. Two different solar systems of stars but both with the same results: net full of pucks.

    Nice pant but the price makes it a tough sell. whats the ballpark on them? Just shy of $200 if my memory serves me. For all the nationalists, Chadd, does that $200 MFSR have to do with a "Made in Canada" label? I haven't seen the line yet so I honestly don't know.
