Icehouse were no help when I asked a while back, maybe it was just who I spoke to. Despite some gripes some of us have, I wouldn't let it stop anyone from buying a pair. Simply the best fitting pair of skates I've had, and I've had lots! Performance is brilliant as well, So easy to use outside edges in these skates! When the time eventually comes to get new skates, I will for sure be getting another custom pair of VH. -

I posted before, their communication isn't the best. I have a missing back to an eyelet (arrived like that) and they gave me the wrong tongues. But They did send me the correct tongues and spare eyelet backings, but no one over here has the correct die.. skates are brilliant regardless and won't wear anything else. -

I have a set of the thick felt Enhanced metatarsal guard tongue and a set of the thick felt regular tongue. I honestly like the regular tongue way more and only use them. -

This is what I mean by "their commnication isn't the best". I've read several times where people didn't receieve what was requested. I asked questions in emails that went unanswered, even when I repeated it in a few different emails. BUT, as I stated.... I love the skates and won't wear anything else now. -

I wouldn't be happy with those..... send them back for sure. Honestly, I LOVE my VH and won't wear any other skate fron now on, BUT.... their communication isn't the best... -

Wasn't there a photo of those on VH's twitter? -

This is how mine sit. Even know everything is fine, I think with my next pair I could go down a size with the holders. http://imgur.com/yC669FB.jpg http://imgur.com/7zA8PTu.jpg -

My feet are the same and getting VH has been the best choice I've ever made with skates! I don't see myself using any other skate from now on! -

The gap is fine on mine and the holder sits flush -

One thing I can complain about is that the eyelet placing is a bit sloppy on mine. -

Did you rebake the skates or was it fine just chucking them in? -

My laces have been going loose and sloppy within 10 to 15, even with the great wrap, the skate feels too sloppy once this happens. I had to lift the eyelet cuff a bit, like mc88 suggested, as the tongues weren't sitting flush and I was getting brutal numbness in my toes and the balls of my feet. -

I've used their wax laces before, but will give the unwaxed a try. I have to have the top eyelet left a bit loose or else the skate rips my leg up. -

Think I have to change the laces out as the ones that come with skates seem to come loose very quick.
