  1. At least you got the right diagnosis. I always thought I had bursitis in my shoulder for years. Turned out to be a torn labrum when it finally became a complete tear.
  2. You will have to wait until 8-8-2019 like the rest of us.
  3. This product is kind of a joke because it is altering the angle that the stick is held, which wouldn't be a problem if your had the correct lie. The last bullet point tells me that, because if the lie is correct, then your blade will be flat on the ice.
  4. One person already said it, rest is the best for inflammation-based pain. I had tennis elbow, and tried "working" through it with a tennis elbow brace. I just ended up stopping all upper-body related exercises (at the gym) for over a month and just did lower-body exercises and cardio. I think it took two months. Anyway, I was able to get back into working out without the tennis elbow brace anymore. It just took rest. I guess you could play ice hockey with a stick of the opposite hand. This way, you won't aggravate the wrist since your other hand is holding the top end of the stick. You'll suck probably, but you won't lose ice time.
  5. OK. If your product involves raising the heel up that much, then it sounds like the product wants the skater's foot angle to be downward, as if he were standing on the balls of his feet, instead of flat. It's kind of interesting, because then, it would also replicate the same effect of not lacing up the top eyelet.
  6. Seems like it does the same thing as re-profiling of blades if all it is doing is changing the balance point. If I adding a layer of shim inside the skate at the heel, then, you are getting the same effect as adding a forward pitch to the blade profile. And if your skates have a factory pitch (or even possibly a negative pitch from poor skate sharpening), then raising the heel would give you a forward pitch and all the benefits that come with a forward pitch blade profile.
  7. Hi. I used to goal tend. Now, I just play out the last couple of years. The warm up is as much for you as it is for the players. If you feel adequately warmed out, just skate out of the net and hang out at the bench or something. Let players get in more shots on an empty net if they want. Or if you aren't warmed up enough, just take on as many shots as you want.
  8. There was a super early whistle on one of the icing calls. It wasn't a big deal, and there was no way anyone would be able to touch it before it crossed the red line. It resulted in the center ice faceoff. A lot of broken sticks in game 7. Unbelievable rookie year for Bennington. He played great, solid technique and reliable. Rask played well and was beat on tough shots.
  9. Looked at ticketmaster for Game 7 ticket prices. Starts at $1,384 in the nose-bleed seats, behind the goal, a.k.a. worst view of the ice.
  10. Don't worry, refs will make a bad call, or more likely, miss calls. They seem to be busy enjoying the game.
  11. Their power play was awful and they looked better 5-on-5 after the penalty was over.
  12. They need to play like they did in Game 3. I wouldn't mind seeing a couple fights, even though that's not the point of the game. Since I'm a Canadiens fan, I just want to see the Bruins lose.
  13. I'm guessing Boston is going to go into revenge mode in the first period. That's a prediction, but they might hold back. Bozak should watch his back. Defense needs to keep the crease blocked from traffic. That dude knocked it out of his hand on purpose late in the third period... junior hockey shenanigans.
  14. I've never heard of a goalie going through a catch glove every three weeks though. I thought they would use two or three a season.
  15. This is an interesting article on Halak. He says he doesn't have a practice glove, his game glove has a practice palm. Game palm is too thin for him. It also says he replaces his catch glove/trapper every three weeks. Not sure what that is about considering a glove costs about $500. Article is from 2010. https://ingoalmag.com/interviews/ask-a-pro-jaroslav-halak-on-new-gloves-and-old-coaches/
  16. They are probably all broken in, and its just personal preference in how they store them in their locker. Goalies usually break in brand new gloves during practices and use old gloves in regulation games until their new gloves are broken in.
  17. Rask on the left has two pairs or trappers and blockers, but Allen has three trappers and two blockers. When did three trappers become a need?
  18. Oh, every team has an exhibition game in your league?
  19. Tampa Bay were the front runner in the Eastern Conference. Tampa was first in their division, and first in the conference. You could "rationalize" the top four teams of the Eastern Conference as "front runners". Calgary was the front runner in the Western Conference. You could rationalize the top four teams of the Western Conference as front runners too.
  20. Meaningless game? That's interesting. Our league has a schedule and when your team loses twice in the playoffs, you are eliminated. Also, they are stingy on ice time (and money) and wouldn't accidentally schedule a meaningless game, i.e. game to determine 3rd place.
  21. Yes, I mean neither were in first place at the end of the regular season.
  22. First goals by St. Louis were nice. First goal by Boston was an interesting mid-air redirect. So far, good hockey. I wish I were there. Some interesting food is being served.
  23. Not sure if anyone is watching, but, I'm looking forward to seeing this. Neither were front-runners in the regular season.
  24. I went from Warrior Bonafide medium to CCM HPUCLP medium. The Warrior fit loose. A smidge heavy but gave total coverage. The UCLP are tight-fitting but very light in weight. Padding is solid, more padding in the tailbone back area which I need/want. You pull out the tail bone protection flap and there are three big segmented sections with a PE plate on each one, like you expect to get checked from behind by Brad Marchand.
