I'd participate :P We should probably do it in the general discussion area, someone get on it! BTW, sweet jerseys! Love the Modano, Gretz and Mario!!! Just wait till I rock the Gretzky, vintage kings logo on a RBK practice jersey!
-
Dmitry Afanasenkov? Is that yooou? :P
-
seriously though, that "hockey room" kicks ass. I wish I had that kind of space, I just have too much damn crap!
-
nice pants ;)
-
I like your tree, but it kinda looks like someone doing the "Crane kick" from karate kid.
-
^ooooo... dammit, I'm going to end up spending more money. :(
-
hey uuummm guy, could you do me a favor and take a picture with the tongue pulled up from the side and the front? I'd like to see how long the tongue is compared to the stock tongue. Make sure you let us know how you like them!!!
-
ewh offers them, not sure about anywhere else.
-
I already said it but I want those tongues on my XXXXs!!! They look sick and the tongue on the XXXXs leave something to be desired when it comes to comfort... Seems pretty protective(haven't taken a hard shot off the tongue area yet) but isn't as comfortable as it could be.

I wouldn't say that they'll chip and crack extremely easily, probably as much as any other blade BUT they will more than likely get soft faster. Based on my experiences with thinner blades. My personal favorite blade is a pro stock blade that I've seen on a lot of 10.0s. It's about twice as thick as that blade and slightly squared on the top and bottom. The layers are thick and textured. The blades don't vibrate when hit with a hard pass, it's pure dampening ecstasy. :D
-
wow, that toe is THIN!!!
-
damn, way to cover 4 MSH-ers in one post!
-
all those sticks and no shoulder pads or gloves! :P
-
You had your skates pimped!!! :o How long is your stick, it looks like it's a foot taller than you!
-
The R8s are better, in my opinion. But they are also a little bit tighter... Both gloves should sell well.
-
my LHS has them... They feel more bulky than the old ones because of the drifit material, the fingers have a lot more padding on top of the fingers. They feel bulkier but aren't, still a quality glove.

Try to be creative and design your own. What do you see that makes you think of your son and makes you smile, no matter what... That's what you should get tattooed on your arm, whether it's abstract in a design or not.
-
haha, just do like I did, put it on the card... it was already the end of my billing period so I don't have to pay for them for another month ;)
-
Thanks guys, they look better in person trust me! I'm soo happy, I thought I was going to have to settle for the 9Ks, it was a pleasant surprise that these fit... coming from 952 tacks!!! Really, you'd be surprised with how much wider the toebox is, in my size 11 it's probably bigger by about 1/3" or more.
-
Haven't skated on them yet... The XXXs were too tight in the toe area, the XXXXs were wide enough. Odd thing was the width was soo tight in the XXXs that it was painful before I even laced them up and the XXXXs fit like a... uhhh glove. I was delightfully shocked that they actually fit.
-
haven't skated on them but yeah they are incredibly stiff. Very comfy, the toe box is wide enough for me to fit in them... If you wore the vapor XXXs you NEED to try the XXXXs on before you buy because the fit is much different in the toe area.
-
Couldn't fit into the Vapor XXXs but these feel great.

Yes, they are. I have an M3 thats been terrible with maintenance. Albeit, mine is boosted, but i've been having problems with it since i bought it. I would not touch a used BMW unless its CPO'd, and especially not an E36. Maybe you should stop running it soo hard. As long as you do basic maintenance they keep running fine. Occasionally, you'll see some issues with the cooling system but besides that no big deal. ('97 M3)

Depending on your age Hondas and Toyotas will be somewhat expensive for insurance because of the amount of theft... a car alarm will help lower that cost. A 4-banger stock civic will cost you as much as the E36 for insurance(of course dependant on coverage, age, sex and driving record). BMWs aren't THAT bad, especially if you have a few friends that get parts cars... BUT that isn't too common for most(although there are a lot of BMW clubs where you can get involved with and meet people). That's why networking is soo important!!! But you are exactly right that Honda and Toyotas will go forever if you take care of them. The aftermarket is also soo big with japanese cars that you can find parts for dirt cheap too.
