The ADT Canada-Russia Challenge plays a very important role in the selection process of Canada’s World Junior Hockey Championship and Under-18 Championship rosters. Each of the three CHL member leagues assembled a selection committee, which worked closely with Hockey Canada’s Chief Scout, Al Murray, to select the players who would participate in the Challenge. The QMJHL selection committee included Jérôme Mésonéro, General Manager of the Victoriaville Tigres, Sylvain Couturier, General Manager of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, Clément Jodoin, head coach of the Rimouski Océanic, and Raymond Bolduc, the Director of Hockey Operations of the QMJHL. A total of twenty-seven players were named to participate in the two-game event. Head coach Clément Jodoin will announce the starters for each game at a later date.
