ah those are my eagles, i miss them lol

Should only be the type of plastic it actually is that would determine strength.

Any idea on retail price for the edge stuff?
-
By what you say about low profile sounds like they'll be perfect. Don't play too much contact(no check league available :() but really dont like playing with my 11 year old flimsy single layer foam shoulder pads when I for some reason take a lot of pucks to the chest. Also, any possibility of pics of the shoulders on to get an idea just how low profile?

Any possible compare/contrast between the XXXX and One90 shoulders? Been waiting till the XXXX came out to compare but want to know if its worth waiting.

So far this is everything to date after a few sales Helmet - Bauer 5000 / Itech 908Ti Shoulder - Elbow - NBH Supreme One90 Gloves - NBH Supreme One90 Pants - NBH Supreme One90 Shins - NBH Supreme One90 Skates - NBH Supreme One90 Stick - Warrior Dolomite Now I'm just waiting for the 9500 Helmet and Vapor XXXX Gloves

Lived in Houston, Kingwood to be precise, but moved May 2005.

Where I played highschool the only people in the stands were parents that enjoyed watching and the younger siblings forced to come along. Then again this was Texas and nobody gave a shit about hockey, everything was football this and football that, man do I hate football.

It's the 9500 cage. It is not titanium - it is stainless steel. Yeah, but at the Let's Play hockey show at the X last year the NBH employee (who seemed to know what he was talking about) specifically mentioned a Titanium cage they were working on. I guess I'll ask again this coming March. I remember it being mentioned, but specifically made a mention of it NOT being Titanium, but nearly as light. I'd love to give the 9500 cage a try but since I don't wear my cage close the oval has an opposite effect and I see it more on the flat part, so personally I'm probably going with Itech.

Because they're not using the power holder, its the LS2.1, which is LS2 Holders and the 2.1 Power steel, fits the LS2 holder, just with a bit more steel in the front and back, making it longer.
-
I agree on the Vapor Series, well done, just the shoulders seem quite bulky XXXX vs One90(Any comment JR, if you've seen it that is). I also like the zipper being added to the Vapor pant, but I think I'm going back to One90s anyways. Very excited about the 9500 though, might add LS2 Holders and LS2.1 steel to my One90s to try them out.

Aren't the carbons, actually carbon and not just a finish?

found some pics from this past summer season...

Theres actually a product that does the same thing, fits in between the holder and the skate, think the weight was adjustable, saw them at total hockey last time i was there.

Waiting for the Stick'um :D , although I'm really satisfied with my Warrior. I'm considering getting an Intake though because I feel like I sweat a buckets worth 10 minutes into a game with the 8000.

Update: As an addition to the rest of my One90 gear(Elbows, Gloves, Shins, Skates) the pants arrived today, next are the shoulders if I don't get them for my upcoming birthday first. They're a little stiff, especially coming from my 6yr old Vapor 10s, but the adjustment will be a smooth one I think, even though they are a little bulkier up top. I like the padding in the legs compared to my Vapors, good front protection but the side and back of the legs are broken up into 4 panels which rounds them out which I like. Seem like they will be another great adition to the One90 series. Helmet: Bauer 8000 w/ Oakley straight & Bauer 5000 w/ NBH 8500 Shoulder: Some old no protection Kohos Elbow: NBH Supreme One90s Gloves: NBH Supreme One90s Pants: NBH Supreme One90s Shins: NBH Supreme One90s Skates: NBH Supreme One90s Sticks: Warrior Dolomite

So I guess it was that last pic I sent you that sold you on a pair, eh? :P

all this jersey talk makes me sad that when I moved about 2 years ago my parents mistook my bag of 20 or so jerseys for trash and tossed them, woe is me.
-
are you serious?
-
Not one bit, it's actually quite short, and the strap holds it in place well, even for how loose I keep the bicep strap.
-
They're great, I've used them only twice so far but I already don't even notice them. Very mobile and so far any hit i've taken hasn't caused any pain or injury. Also very comfortable, love the straps on them. I definitely recommend them at this point.
-
How are you liking the pants? I'm thinking of ordering some next paycheck.
-
I'm crouched in a very awkward position in order to get the camera in position by hand to get the shot. I knew they looked messed up lol
-
Not bulky at all, quite slim actually, fit to my leg nice and tight. here are some pics...
-
Couldn't be happier, light, comfortable and protective. Slapshots to the shin/knee area, no problem, you'll know you're hit but feel no pain and a great part, is no tape needed so far. Elbows, I've taken slashes and hits, no pain yet, great protection with great mobility. Same goes for the gloves, plus great palms, imo at least. I tried on the One90 Shoulders at TotalHockey this week and I'm totally sold on those as well, light, low profile and feel like they have great mobility from the start. Any specific questions feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to answer.
