    I've been listening to a guy that should have a record deal...but doesn't. It's rootsy-country-folk...very John Prine-esque (ask your parents). Jesse Reid (www.jessereid.com) Great writer.... Then, there is my brother Adam. (myspace.com/adambazinet). Another folky guy...probably not the cup of tea of most on here...but I'll put them out there anyway. And to the guy who said OAR..."Crazy Game of Poker" is waaaaaay Cool.

    My New Gloves...not quite as flashy as some, but I like them. Got them from the Bulldogs Sale. They have #24 on the palms...so I assume they were Francis Lemieux's last year (or during Camp this year). They have plastic inserts in the fingers, and across the back of the hand...They are in pretty good shape overall. Just two small holes in the right hand...

    I took the white tongues off a pair of Bauer Vapor Inlines, then took off the vapor logo off the tongues. Then I took off the RBK tongues and took them apart. I took out the plastic inserts and sewed them onto the white tongues. Then I took off the RBK logos and put them on the white tongues. I need to get thread though tomorrow or sunday since all I could find in the house was red and I want to use white. Right now the pieces are put together by spray adhesive(besides the plastic insert), which I had to put on anyways so the pieces will be bonded together so they dont move when sewing and it provides more reinforcement.. How much time did this take you? About a Half-hour. The sewing is going to take awhile. Do you have an industrial/leather sewing machine...or are you doing this by hand? I think that's gonna wreck your Mom's Singer!!!!

    Since when is Koivu a Bauer guy...? I thought he was CCM (and Easton before that). Ryder used Easton last season, if I recall. That looks like the Vinny Prospal Eastons that hattrick always had for sale on his site. not really, the Prospal is: I didn't remember the Prospal being that extreme...crazy looking.

    Doesn't your husband read MSH? You might want to remove the part about hooking up with someone. ;) maybe he wont read this thread :D Michelle....You got some 'splanin to do... <_< Could be worse...Usually, when people say they "hooked up" on a weekend away...they didn't bring home new gear.

    How do you calculate lie...if you had a stick adn didn't know the lie...and didn't have a lie detector (which may not tell the truth *ha!*). Me? Trial and error. My preference is a 5-ish lie with a slight rocker as I tend to get on top of the puck a little more when I really want to put some extra "oomph" on my shots. I don't mean pick the best lie for you...I mean actually tell what lie a stick is?

    they sell them at walmart for like 25.00$ I've got an orange one. Not high end by any means...but decent (for my ability). I was walking into a rink with it one day and there was this kid (maybe 5-6)..grabs his Dad's leg... "Dad...Dad...he's got one of THOSE sticks!!!!" He was in awe...kinda cute.

    Like you said, most of the 18-20 years old in our league are looking for university but it's not everyone. Those who can enter the top D1 program are still looking to play high level hockey in their future. The caliber is not way under the Q because a lot of players could go in the Q but decided to come JR.A to play university after. So, what is your path Kovy...are you being scouted for the Q? Or, are you going the scholarship route?

    I got my Habs pants...finally. The Bulldogs had an Equipment Sale this weekend. They are a little big, but I think they'll do. They had a tag that said #45 on them...so I think they might have been Danny Syvret's Training Camp pants. They show great wear, and have had the hell beat out of them...a couple nice patch jobs too... Not bad for $25.00.

    I take it you didn't see any of the interviews over the weekend. They had three logos, RBK, NHL and crosby87.com. Yeah, I did...but when you go to that site...it's all Rimouski stuff and the most recent news is his Gatorade deal...

    Are ya sure he's gonna wear 87 in the bigs? Lots of guys change #'s when they get to the NHL...maybe he'll go with 28 or 9 (that he wore for Canada). 87 makes you stand out on the ice, and he's gonna stand out plenty on his own. Wait and see what he's wearing 10/05. Just a thought.
