Reunited with an old girlfriend after not seeing her for nearly 25 years, and man is it good. She turned out awesome :)

Nice. Iron Maiden was my first concert back in 1985 & I've loved them ever since. The ticket was $14 bucks. Been a DT fan since Images & Words. Me & my son are going July 14 in Pittsburgh. B) Tix were $60 bucks

I love how it's always the officials fault. :P

I noticed the Crosby vs Ovechkin thing died down quite a bit since the Pens won the Cup. I listened to the game on the radio & even though the Pens lost I was feeling OK about it. Sounded like they played well without Geno and Gonchar and came away from Washington with a point. Then I read this from Brooks Orpik. i love this guy.

Scored three Iron Maiden tickets today B)

I don't know why I have it in my head that the B's/Pens game is tomorrow.

So I was driving home from work last night (in Pittsburgh) listening to the local sports talk radio show talk about the Matt Cooke incident. Apparently Jack Edwards had called in to the show earlier in the week and made some comments about how the league left the B's no choice but to get revenge for the Savard hit and how season ticket holders wont renew if the B's let this slide, Crosby needs to loose 8 teeth, eye for an eye, etc (I'm paraphrasing, I didn't hear the piece). The callers and the host were going pretty rough on Edwards for the comments & I guess Jack was listening & called the show. :o He pretty much tore the host a new one and said his comments were being taken out of context, etc. Pretty funny stuff. In the end they kinda kissed & made up but Jack was pretty pissed off. For the record, I listen to the show all week and the overwhelming majority of the callers (Penguins fans) said it was outrageous that Cooke wasn't suspended, Colon Campbell is a joke and some even suggested that the Penguins should have suspended Cooke. Should make for an interesting game tomorrow. I remember how I felt last year when Ovechkin took Gonchar out of the playoffs with the knee on knee hit. I wanted him dead. I can understand if Bruins fans are upset about the Cooke cheapshot but I hope it doesn't turn in to a goon fest. Hopefully Cooke will drop the gloves on the first shift of the first period, get his ass whipped and we can move on. It does worry me, though, what will happen if either team has a big lead late in the 3rd..

Yeah that sucks about Savard. I hope he's OK. Even the Pens fans are pissed at Cooke, myself included.

Looks like my evil plot is coming together nicely :P

Great game for the Caps. Great game in general. I'm still hanging on to the belief that they're peaking to early, will crumble down the stretch and collapse completely in the playoffs. :D In reality I feel that a shift in the balance of power in the is East under way.

Actually, it's ok to screw crazy. You just don't marry crazy. You'll miss out on some fun times if you're that strict. Giving "the crazy" access to your house, finances, or sperm will only lead to your life being ruined one day. Prehaps you have a lower bar for what qualifies. Wait a minute, I never said they could have access. Just that you can miss out on some fun times. "Crazy" must be kept at arms length at all times you aren't in contact. +1 Three cheers for banging crazy chicks!

Sent down this morning along with Johnson. So much for that

Yeah it's gotten to the point that when I hear '...and the Penguins are going on the power play' I think 'big deal...'

I wasn't really sure where to post this, I didn't want to start a new thread so I figured this one would be as good as any. I just came home from the local rink. I went to a public skate to get a first skate on my new Vapor's. Anyways, I come off the ice & sit down to remove my skates & there's a fella about 18 or 20 next to me getting ready to go on. He's got a brand new pair of lower end Vapors and he's got a piece of sandpaper and is sanding the bottom of his blades, I assume to remove rust. I really wanted to say something but just decided to let it go. Also judging by the size of the skate & his feet I'd estimate 2-3 sizes too big. I tried to stall a little bit because I wanted to see him skate on those but he farted around too long & I got bored & left.

Agree. The good thing is that despite the poor showing lately they're still 4th seed vs having to claw their way up from the bottom like the past few seasons. I'm not too worried at this point. They have a history of turning it on when it matters most & after last season when I had completely given up hope of them making the playoffs they turn around & battle to the 4th seed & win the Cup. I'll never doubt them again & just trust that GMRS & HCDB will push the right buttons.

How about the kid getting to play nets for the second half. I love stuff like that, even tho the Pens got owned. He must be high as a kite today. B)
