I haven't seen any coverage over the last few days but everything was localized to a couple spots in the gulf, very little "big picture" coverage. I'm getting my fill this week for that reason alone.

That's a big part of why I need to go away every couple months and enjoy some island time. That brings me to my next vent: Why are women such a pain in the ass when it comes to packing for a trip? Admittedly, my wife is fairly low-maintenance but she does not handle stress well at all and she creates a lot of stress when it comes to going away for a couple days.

One of my best friends went to school with a guy that is now a broker. We generally get the tickets for face value. I'd rather spend a week in the islands than pay $1000 for a hockey ticket, even if it is to see Chicago in the finals.

I was offered a ticket to the Flyers game tomorrow night, but I have to work and I'm flying through LaGuardia and Philly twice each. With the rain in the forecast, there's no telling what could happen to me tomorrow.

What do they normally give you? I had problems with back spasms when I was in high school, fortunately I haven't had them in a long time.

No fun at all. One of my guys had surgery and was out almost a year.

Still working the details, just in the early stages. I'm willing to work with the guy on price in order to get my foot in that side of things. It will depend on what level of product he wants from me; raw audio or finished master would require very different amounts of work.

"See Spot. See Spot run. Run Spot Run." I think I can pull it off. I just have to take a valium or two, to get the pace right. My wife listens to audio books all the time and they kill me with the pace.

Got an offer to narrate an audio book yesterday. Hopefully this pans out, I'd really love to get into that line of work on more of a full-time basis.

My wife got the LL Bean Legacy, traded in her Imprezza Outback. The sunroof is huge.
