His hit on Booth and his attempt to do the same to Ovrchkin a few days later shows that he has no respect for any other player on the ice. Anyone that plays like that is a detriment to the league. He's more than comfortable on either side of that line.

We went from a dog that could pick locks to one that can't pick his own nose. With the Aussie, it was never a question whether she understood what you told her, it was a question of whether she wanted to do what you told her. Smart and stubborn but an absolutely fantastic dog.

Sorry to hear it, losing a good dog can be tough. I would wait a bit before looking for another dog, we waited 6 months or so after we lost our Australian Shepherd and it helped. You might also want to consider getting a dog that looks nothing like the one you just lost. It helps keep the inevitable comparisons to a minimum.

Couldn't find a room at my usual hotels in Aruba for our anniversary, then remembered the "bidding for travel" site Jason mentioned. Booked the Marriott for $100 a night, $300+ less than they normally charge. Sweet spot, indeed.

Sat down in front of the TV last night and stripped one of my guitars while I watched hockey. Just placed the order for the refinishing supplies, I'd like to get it painted before I leave for vacation, then I can clear coat it when I get back.
