  1. We'll see how much playing time he gets. If it's five minutes a game, then it really isn't much of a chance.
  2. Stempniak is a shooter, if David can set him up that could be a fun pair to watch.
  3. Not to mention the ones most likely to proposition, outside of buzz who will proposition just about any woman, are their own walking cockblock.
  4. Not perception, reality. The liner/tongue on the S500 is the best I've ever used.
  5. No, it was a topic on the Torspo skates.
  6. New topic not required, merged back into "show it off" topic.
  7. 1. Most sticks are sold to people who cut them down 2. Longer stick means more material used in production i never cut a stick, cause they're universally too short. more material. yes, but lets say changing from 60 to 63" is only a 5% increase in length, which should equate to a less than 5% increase in cost. i'd pay ~5% more to always have the right length stick. i guess i'm in the minority here. i'm not even THAT tall... about 6'0, but on skates, a 60" stick comes up to my mouth. when i play devense, my montreal stick is the perfect length... about 61", almost to my nose. Again, the vast majority of people cut their sticks. Why would a company increase their cost by 5% when most people don't want or need the extra length? You don't tailor your product to 10% of a market, you cater to the 90%. I use a plug in my sticks, and I find that it helps even out the balance quite a bit.

  9. Does that apply to the '07 Fuels, and V-Hex? No on the V Hex, don't recall on the 07 fuel.
  10. They make the Fuel sticks like Stealths and Vapors now, that won't work.
  11. Remember the last time they did that? That lasted all of what, a year?
  12. The fact you can almost have two pair of V08 for the price of the U+ makes it hard to not go with the V08. If you're on the ice more than 3-4 times a week, you might be better off going with two pair of V08s and rotating them. Giving them the extra time to dry should help them last much longer.

  14. And some of Keith's "special" gloves
  15. Warnings and three day suspensions issued to all of those who continued the off-topic posts about helmets after I issued the warning.
  16. I have the Pro Stock (PPF) gloves, and they are more like a narrower-fitting X70 than the X72. They feel huge compared to my CP94s
  17. They call them pro stock but they're usually just a stock glove.
  18. The helmet adjustment system is bulky and clunky. It also takes up a decent amount of width as well. Not a big fan of it at all.
  19. They should let the young guys participate in the trick shot event. Something tells me that most of the young guys are going to be more creative than guys like Iggy or Thornton. This is another reason the NBA, as much as I don't like it, has better festivities since they get unknowns in the skills comp. Teams can get their mandatory rep involved in the skills shindig or the game. Promotes more players overall and should get the fastest guys and hardest shots possible.

  22. Gotta rest him after those ten big minutes last night.
  23. Depends on when the dealers sent in their booking orders.
