Just done it for a laugh, was a golf day with the guys I play ice hockey with so it got some chuckles. Photo was taken at Ormeau, £15 for a round of golf and your lunch ain't bad at all!!
-
I went golfing yesterday for the first time in 2 years and got a chance to try out my pro stock Vapor XXX putter
-
Sweet mitts TBL, if you ever want rid of them I can shotgun!

Haha yeh I can kinda see that one, we both pull odd shapes with out mouths when we are playing... Don't really see this one, must be the matching gloves  but either way I'm flattered that I look like a pro, even though I suck. Heres another photo of me from the tournament, this time I'm demonstrating how not to backcheck...

Few photos from an inline tournament last weekend. The photographer is still uploading photos so should hopefully have a few more.

Can you get the +2 length in retail or did you have to go custom?

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
Clark12 replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
Probably should have put this in the photoshop thread in the ice forum, but here's what my next pair of skates are gonna be. Got the wheels and chassis ready to mount, just waiting for the skates to arrive...- 2846 replies

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
Clark12 replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
I'm no expert but I would tend to agree. My Bauer 6000's had the same issue but once the chassis was riveted to the boot everything was fine.- 2846 replies

Drew only has one hand. You didn't know that? Quit quoting pictures. Sorry. One hand eh? I actually used to work in a sports store when I was at school and there was a one legged guy that used to steal left footed displays shoes. In the end we had to start putting the right shoe on the display as they were no use to him! Anyway back to the topic, awesome collection Drew loving the red white and blue M1's and the Minny XXX's

Only left hand gloves? Have you been stealing display models :D :P

Product: Warrior Mac Daddy Nipple Grip 100 Flex, RH Federov Curve My stats: age 22 6'2" 200 pounds. 6 years experience playing Left Wing in both ice and inline. Play most like a grinder and am often found crashing the net for deflections and rebounds. Well this was my second time using a Mac Daddy. Last year I bought a clear version to back up my XXX lite but after using it twice I decided to sell it because I prefered the grip feel of the Bauer. Since then I have been using Warrior Dolomites (Nipple Grip) and a few Mission V-Hex's. Aesthetics: Warrior always seem to put great effort into the graphics package of their sticks and the Mac Daddy is no different. I also like how the Mac Daddy has retained its design over the years, unlike the Dolomite which changes outfits every season. 10/10 Blade: Coming from the the V-Hex it took me a while to get used to the stiffness of a Warrior blade again. For the first 30 mins I used it I found that passes where bouncing off the blade more than I'm used to but with a little adjustment in my play this was corrected. Regardless I've always felt that the blade is one of the strong points in the Warrior range. For a guy like me who usually breaks blades before shafts Warrior sticks seem like the best bang for you buck as the durability is incredible. 9/10 Flex: Again coming from the V-Hex I felt this to be a little stiffer than what I had been playing with however that is probably to do with the fact that I felt the V-Hex's where whippier than listed. Still its a very responsive stick and getting power behind shots is effortless. 8/10 Shooting: This is where the Mac Daddy really comes into its own. The first thing I noticed was how quick was puck was flying off the blade, this thing has got some serious kick. I found a noticeable difference in my shot power without a compromise in accuracy. I'm not the type of guy who constantly fires slappers but again I found the power and accuracy I could crank out of this twig to be excellent. 10/10 Weight and balance: Although the Mac Daddy isn't the lightest stick on the market it definitely makes up for the fact by being very well balanced even after I have added an 1.5 inch extension. 8/10 as it could be lighter. Durability: As I've only used this stick a handful of times I'm gonna leave this section blank other than to mention that the first time I used it the blade got stuck under the boards at my local inline rink which then resulted in the guy I was poke checking tripping and landing on top of it. Surprisingly it came out of this incident without any battle scars and still seems to be structurally sound. Conclusion: Although I would still rather have a Dolomite, the Mac Daddy is up there and is just as good. Definitely one of the best one piece sticks on the market and I would definitely consider buying another one. If you can get can get over the stiffness of the blade for stick handling and puck control then this stick is gonna work out great for you, especially if you are a heavy shooter. 9/10

Where is there a rink in Northern Ireland? And i think we have a mini-shirt from your team in the BIPHA office at my local rink (Virtual Ice) Our rink is in Bangor. Three of the kids that I used to coach at U12 were selected for the GB U10 team last year and we've another 3 over this weekend for U10 and U14. Through the trials some of our club officials have become quite friendly with the BIPHA guys so its very possible that one of our mini shirts has ended up at your local rink. Where do you play and who for? I'm guessing that your from the Sheffield area so would probably play at Virtual Ice or Queens Road?

Yeh I was down early on and seen most of that stuff. The Vapor is actually a Ryan Smyth pro stock (Avs Ryan Smyth, not Ryan Smith that played for the Giants). I can sympathise with you over the greif your getting about the visor. After Simon Black getting his teeth knocked out, Jen has been tortuing me to put a cage back on but I can't do it, 1. because I hate the feeling on the chin cup and 2 because im too much of a gear whore! Still nice pick ups.
-
Did you pick up that Mission skid lid at the Giants equipment sale last night Ed? I seen you were wearing a red lid last weekend and had ditched the cage. I got one of those Mission lids at the sale last night altho I'm not sure weather I'm gonna ditch the RBK bucket for it. Also meant to ask you a few weeks ago, what did you use to black out your sticks? They seemed to be painted pretty smooth and you blended them back into the stick colour pretty well too.
-
Nice setup but it looks like your holders are too short for the boot ;) They are indeed. I needed 290 tuuks but I had a set of 288s already so I wasn't going to get into a fit over such a small difference. Besides those tuuks are like an old pair of slippers, they have been on my last 3 pairs of skates and altho I should probably get some new ones, im comfy skating in them.

Ovechkin? Never heard of him, is he any good?

Well now that you mention it.... :P I agree that the jerseys are really nice, I really think the sky blue sets them off. I dont know who designed them by they are made by Tackla.
